Like many others, I was fleeced. No communication at all. Only on visiting their website did I realise that they've gone bust and that I won't be going to Bali after all. It did seem like an unsustainable business model, and it remains to be seen whether I'll get my money back.

We purchased our voucher and booked our hotel on the Goldcoast 1 month before our anniversary holiday. I confirmed with the hotel our reservation wash valid the day before arrival. On the day of arrival, after driving 3 hrs to our hotel we were informed that unsold.com had cancelled our reservation and the hotel had refunded unsold .com. We have to pay again or our accomodation, as we had an early morning departure for a hot air balloon ride in the area the next morning. We have not recieved a refund from unsold.com. They had ensured the hotel we would be refunded.

I got ripped off too. Bought a 7-night stay in NYC. Made the reservation in June starting on August 31. Got an email today that they were no longer doing busy. Called the hotel and was told that Unsold had canceled my reservation. And yet I saw them advertising on Facebook about two weeks ago. I am filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General.

They sold cheap vacations, then they cancelled the booking last minute with the hotels and never paid for the rooms. So if you are at the hotel itself in a foreign country you have no choice than book yourself and pay for it again.

My reservation in Sydney from Monday 16th August was cancelled by Sold.com on 6th. Got the "sorry Email" from Sold.com on 11th. Money was never given to hotel. Ponzi scheme is right. I had used them twice before and all good, but it was just a ploy to get good reviews until enough people were sucked in, then pull the plug ! Covid19 excuse is crap. I have began a disputed transaction with my credit card company, so we will wait and see if I get my money back. By the way, one star is one too many, but I could not give none.

I just called my hotel in JP to confirm my reservation was still valid. They told me that my reservation was still good. They did note the they did receive a call to cancel it but refused because it was non refundable. I had the person put a note under my reservation to DO NOT CANCEL. I told them I would call back to check my reservation again when it’s closer to my date. As for my second reservation I couldn’t understand the gentleman very well and we didn’t get very far. I said I will call back in a few hours when the new shift arrives. Fingers crossed I get good news like I did on my first reservation. I’m very worried. UPDATE: Second hotel was cancelled without my knowing. I called my CC and they are crediting my card for the second hotel. They will credit my the other one if indeed it gets cancelled. Very disappointed.
