I truly enjoy my membership. I started with a trial (Choices), and during COVID pandemic I got an upgrade to Silver membership. Of course, I have to mention that I got the best deal, as nobody was sure about future travel. Now I’m enjoying a variety of resorts all over the world for the best price. I often choose Zoetry resorts famous for their intimacy and excellent restaurants.

Love it best vacation program ever

From what I've read on here it seems people only have a bad taste in their mouth from bad experiences during the presentation not the actual product itself. My personal experience was in fact a positive one. I was on holiday in Tenerife in the Alua Atlantico Golf resort where I was approached by a polite young lady at the reception of the hotel. She offered me a voucher in exchange for 90 minutes of my time to show me and my wife some vacation membership options. We decided to take her up on her offer and was appointed to meet a representative the following day. We were met in the morning by one of the representatives who took us for breakfast followed by an insightful presentation on our options as a travelling member of Hyatt/UVC. At the end of the presentation we were offered a 15 year option which we declined due to the price being slightly out of our reach. We were then offered a much more affordable 5 year plan which we decided to take. The time with the salesteam was a million miles away from some of the comments on here. No pressure, very professional and easy going. At first we were slightly nervous if we had made the right choice. Fast forward to now I have absolutly no complaints. We have used both our insentive weeks that were offered. One in AluaSoul Majorca (Room upgraded at check in) and recently Dreams Jardin Tropical Tenerife. With those 2 holidays alone I've more or less broke even on my membership, with 4 more years left to enjoy. For anyone looking to buy, all I can say is that its working for me and everything that was offered during the presentation has materialised.

We’ve been members since 2011 and love it. It’s not a time share but a vacation club that discounts some hotel brands and offers price matches. It worked for us. You should read contract before you sign and not rely on sales people promises, it’s that simple. We just booked our yearly trip with friends to Dreams Tulum, paid 2400 usd per room type jr suite. We probably will get upgraded (as usual) when we will arrive as platinum members.

Bought in with the lowest level, then upgraded to Silver with all the benifits of the higher levels. Love it. We travel at leat 2 times a year and sometimes more. Almost always Secrets because our kids are all out of the house. We have more then made up for the cost of the membership by doing price matches or roll backs.

Compre mi membresía hace 4 meses y ya la he usado para mi viaje a Cancun 1 semana. Nos quedamos un un Sectret , hotel fantástico, servicio VIP excelente . Sólo con este un viaje ya me he ahorrado 800euros. Y más viajes los que van a venir. Me trataron muy bien y me dieron un Upgrade a una Suite fantástica . My husband and I have been with UVC since August 2016. This vacation club was 5 years into it's beginnings when we joined. We too were concerned with reviews after we bought in and arrived back home. We went to Secrets in Cancun and were skeptical at first with the presentation to join UVC. There were additional products that were given to "try out" such as yachting excursions and a vacation program where you're given "points" to use around the world. My husband and I didn't find those beneficial for us, we just wanted to use UVC. We also have adult children who are Co-owners on our policy and they have had excellent service and accommodations. This is NOT your typical "Time Share" program. It is a (Club Membership) based on your style of resort and your needs. We have been all over Mexico with UVC and stayed at both Secrets and Dreams resorts. I'm picky about my resorts so I look for "Diamond" classifications. Make sure your resorts have beaches that are swimmable if you like to get into the water. Staffing has been excellent at the resorts we've been to, both on the Caribbean and Pacific coasts. The food has been exceptional, there's activities and entertainment designed for the flavor of the resort and the resorts we've visited have been clean and inviting. It's your responsibility to know how to utilize your benefits from what your membership offers. We've used the Shuttle from the airport to the resort and back and it was well worth the money. Cost was comparable or less per person than what the local taxi's charged. It's amazing to hear people panicking and giving UVC a bad rap. When it came time to continue the other time sensitive packaged programs offered when we signed up with UVC, we let them lapse. We love having our membership and I've learned how to utilize our package to its fullest. Our adult children are going to continue our membership when we get too old to travel. Hope this review gives readers a better impression of what UVC is, at least what we've experienced these past 7 years. Looking forward to other trips to countries such as Europe and South America where UVC has expanded into.
