Bought a package in 2019 valid for 5 yeas which includes for 7 nights all-inclusive. tried to cancel but because was after 7 days we could not do it.
So, we paid the fees every year. Since COVID restrictions were lifted, wanted to use the package only to be told that I cannot use it because the 7 nights was available only for 3 years and 5 years is just to be a member of this club. However, this is not what was presented to us when we bought the package. The understanding was that will be for 5 years.
I tried to book last year, but was not able to get anything with them directly or through their site. Spoke with one of the representatives at that time and I had told me that will be no problem to book within five years, but when tried today I was told that cannot be done.
It is a horrible experience, we were misled, manipulated, and lied to just to get our money.
User's recommendation: DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM WHEN YOU ARE ON YOUR VACATION. It is a total rip off.

This company should be border line…
This company should be border line illegal. Predatory practices that are dishonest and mis represented to say the least. The abusive illegal practices to contact you are the worst. This company is terrible. Do not use them by any means you will regret it.

They lied about the benefits that came…
They lied about the benefits that came with our package. We took a photo of the inaccurrate things they wrote and sent it to them and they refused to give us back $860 when we got nothing out of it and cancelled as soon as we were able to actually see the benefits at 10 days. Thank goodness we cancelled anyway

Scam alert
Scam alert! Do NOT trust these people! We were completely lied to by the sales representative, Jeff, at Dreams Vallarta Bay. We have been trying to fight it with Unlimited Vacation Club but they keep stating nothing is not wrong with the contract. Our issue is not with the contract but with their sales representative, Jeff, who completely sold us the membership on false pretenses using high-pressure sales tactics and bait and switch. We are seeking legal counsel.
Easy to spot him: Jeff is a short Caucasian man in his early 50’s, with a lazy eye. He claims to be a family man from southern CA, living in PV for 10 years. I feel it’s important to give his description in case he changes his name for scams.
We met Jeff the first day of our stay by the pool. He asked us how we liked the resort and we said that we have stayed at other Dreams resorts in Cancun. We told him that we had just come from Sunscape Puerto Vallarta which was just down the road. We had a miserable experience as that resort was extremely dirty and just gross. We explained to Jeff that we had to pay for the night we stayed +2 additional nights penalty for the two rooms we had booked, costing us approximately $1300 in extra charges, not to mention the cost of moving to the new resort, Dreams Vallarta Bay. We told him that we had stayed at other Dreams resorts in Cancun. Jeff asked us just to come talk to him for 15 minutes about the vacation club membership and if we decided to purchase a membership that he could refund that extra $1300 we had to pay in penalty nights at Sunscape.
We did meet with Jeff and ended up purchasing a membership based solely on the fact that he was going to refund the $1300. I told Jeff I was uncomfortable signing a contract without that being in writing. He assured us we would get the refund but because it didn’t have anything to do with the price of the membership he could not put it in the contract. I told Jeff that I needed the refund right away because I could not have all of those charges on my credit card at the same time. Jeff said trust me, it’s my number one priority, I’ll get it taken care of. He even went so far as to walk into the membership room, pretend to talk to a head boss, and come back stating that the $1300 refund was absolutely no problem. Jeff said we are now family. He claimed to have a child around our son’s age and even said we should vacation together sometime.
We began texting Jeff two weeks upon returning home. Dozens of text messages went back-and-forth with us asking about the refund and Jeff stating it was his number one priority and he would get it taken care of. We finally texted asking if he had at least an ETA on the refund and that it needed to happen right away or we wished to cancel the membership. Jeff then completely ghosted us and did not return any more text messages. This is when we reached out to Unlimited Vacation Club explaining the situation, providing proof of the text messages, and they are still stating that because nothing was wrong with the contract or written in the contract about the $1300 refund that there is nothing they will do. We wanted the vacation membership because we travel and we like to stay at Dreams Resorts, but we were not going to sign without that $1300 refund.
Unlimited Vacation Club is willing to let this scam artist, Jeff, continue to work for them and possibly scam other people. Who knows how many other people they have working for them that are doing the same thing.
We are retaining legal counsel against both Unlimited Vacation Club and Jeff for recourse. Jeff is disgusting and is a predator. Wish us luck. I sure hope this might save you from making the same mistake and trusting this guy Jeff who seemed so sincere.

This company Unlimited Vacation Club is…
This company Unlimited Vacation Club is horrible, I have been trying to cancel my membership for almost a year now. I keep getting calls after calls when have told them I no longer want the service. This has now become harassment. Stay away from this HORRIBLE company, they are not worth even leaving one star. They don't listen at all. Unlimited your cancellation policy SUCKS to the pits.

Unfair treatment
We made a vacation reservation and bought trip protection in Feb 2022. However, the trip protection policy was issued to the wrong travelers. I contacted the UVC Customer Service the same day and asked them to correct the names on the policy. They promised to do so. But the new corrected policy was issued to wrong persons again plus I was charged twice for the policy. I had to call UVC again. After several days I finally got the corrected travel policy and found that UVC charged me a third time for the same travel policy. I called UVC several times about returning two extra charges. UVC agreed to return my two extra payments back. After five months UVC only returned me one extra charge. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and finally got my money back. However, UVC blocked my online access to my account after that and I couldn't use my membership. That was UVC's "vendetta". I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau in June 2022 however UVC didn't even respond back to BBB. I still have no access to my online account and membership. Now it is July. Every time when I call UVC Customer Service they promise to unblock my online account but it is still blocked. UVC overcharged me three times and blocked my online account. It's ridiculous!
