Do not sign up for this useless vacation club. It serves no purpose. All the "benefits" they tell you during presentations are a bunch of BS. I did a presentation back in 19' and after hearing their outrageous price, i said no thanks. After going thru a few people of saying no, they finally offered a trial of their program for 5 years. I actually wanted to try a all inclusive type of club so for 5k, we gave it a shot since it wasn't much. 1k down, 4k to pay and once its paid off, 7 nights free. As we all know, the pandemic occurred. Guess what, it didnt occur for UVC. Nothing was paused, nothing was extended. If you had premiere nights, it expired since you couldnt travel. Even asking for an extension, nope, because their resorts were opened. Who cares about the pandemic!! Each year, they continued to call for their annual payment. Non stop calls from lifestyle club nonsense to renew as well. Anyway, fast forward to 2022, i had to book my 7 nights free otherwise i'd loose that too! Booked for Dreams Onyx in Punta Cana. Huge mistake. Rooms were FILTH!!! Mold smell, black mold/mildew in the bathroom all over, filthy stains around toilet and around bathroom. Dirty sofa. It was bad. Requested another room but needed to wait for the next day. Got another room and to my surprise, same exact condition minus the mold smell. I asked to be transferred to another dreams resort nearby since the resort had no more rooms or so they claimed but they said I'd have to call UVC. All UVC was able to tell me was that i'd be penalized 2 nights and that because the deadline for me to use my nights has passed, i cant book them to move so i'd just have to pay in full for the other resort. They provided me all the negatives and the cant do this, cant do that instead of try to help me. Asked for a Supervisor who basically reiterated everything that they couldnt do for me and everything I would get penalized by moving. He basically told me the benefit of UVC is to act like a middle man for the resorts. Totally useless. Read all the 1 star reviews before you sign up for this. I'm so happy that I did not sign up for their real packages for high costs. 5k wasnt much at all to try. The smallest most simplest gesture they offer is that they put a welcome uvc member banner on your door. Both times I have used this club, I did not get any banner on my door. Even after telling them this time that I didnt even get that small gesture, they Still did not put it. Lol what a joke. Dont do it people-- do not sign up for this!!!

UVC tried to convince us, without providing any prices that joining the club would be good value. They threw around figures just plucked out of thin air and when we asked for justification they just gave us stupid answers that did not stack up. The more we probed the more frustrated the sales person got. When we asked for the price of the membership they did n’t want to tell us. They got a manager who rather than engage us in conversation told us this was their process and it has worked for 12 years. I pointed out I’d been selling business for over 20 years and lots of hype just did not cut it for me, and thus we were done! Stay away! Why would you hand over your money for a long term arrangement like this. The pandemic has shown that nothing is certain and committing your money for the promise of something in the future, well is simply a bad return. Having read other reviews I can see why they refuse to discuss the price of the membership as they think they are dazzling you with all their sales talk with limited transparency! Just say no and enjoy your time at the beach! We also found out that there is only a 5 day cancellation period if you sign a contract with them. They also refer to not going to court if you want to end the contract but that is because they simply hand the whole thing over to a collections organisation. If you sign you’ve entered a contractual arrangement which you are obliged to fulfil. One couple we met as been quoted $23k for the lowest membership level. They had been told they could pay a deposit but they had not been told they would be charged interest on future instalments.!

If I could give this less than a one star I would. We paid over 5k for a test membership and it was time to book something or lose the money, so we booked. Our points would only allow us a lower seed hotel. This same hotel, Now Emerald, books online for dates we've booked for only $1,200 (163 per night). No ocean front, no upgrades in spite of our paying thousands of dollars more. While we loved our stay at Secrets and would highly recommend, I cannot not recommend buying into their travel clubs, a total waste of money! Rick & Kim D.

Was helped by man named Orlando when we arrived to check in and the whole gimmick is a sales presentation they want you to attend for breakfast. Promise 90 minutes only. Was closer to 4 hours. Very similar to time shares. Orlando promised us romantic dinner which he never made reservations for and gift from him. Apparently if you invest in the property. First option $25,000 second $17,000. The part that really aggravated us the most was we said not interested and still sent over 3 additional closers to keep pushing you to buy. If you see people in blue shirts with unlimited vacations on front. Stay away We weee in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic Just say NO

My girlfriend and I were approached by an individual named Robert Rodriguez at the Tulum Ruins to check out the all-inclusive Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa. In exchange for checking out the place we were given 400 mexican pesos and a chance to check out the Tortuga cenotes (4 in total), along with breakfast. There is a UVC salesroom there and us saying no turned into us having to speak to 3 different individuals who essentially do not want to take no for an answer (and provide "free" drinks to sweeten the deal). After signing one of the lowest possible agreements which supposedly guarantees discounts on hotels, we had a very uneasy feeling later that night. Thankfully whenever you sign an agreement of this nature, there is a 5-day cancellation window. After feeling like we were unfairly pressured into signing I wrote a strongly worded cancellation email requesting a full refund and no further charges to our credit cards. We received the refunds to our cards within a couple of business days. However, the drinks and 400 peso gift were subtracted from the amounts refunded. For me, if something is worth selling, people shouldn't have to be unfairly pressured into signing the contracts. Stick to searching for deals online, and avoid this company.

Worst vacation club ever. They lie about what you will receive and then threaten you to pay the whole amount of your contract once you get home and figure it out. ‘Unlimited vacation nights,’ 1050 nights, RCI discount nights, etc. all listed separately in the contract but all mean the same thing: for $20k - $70k you get only a 25% discount off a listed price when you could just get the same or better from a web booking site for free. GIANT INFURIATING RIP OFF. RUN AWAY!!

Run! Do not do business with UVC! They are the biggest scammers! They don’t honor anything they promise you! They take your money and run! In my contract it says they were on our price matches from Priceline but when I submitted my price match they declined it because it was $1000! They refused my price match! Scammers!
