Charged for the Most Expensive box but only received 13 snacks
Ordering a box could not be completed without contacting customer serviced due to an error message that kept popping up at checkout. Customer service was helpful enough in their communication but ultimately they did not deliver the correct box. I paid for the Super Yum that was supposed to include a box with 18 plus snacks. I only received 13 items.
While the snack packaging was all from Egypt, the actual type of snacks are all things available in the US under a domestic label ...pizza bugles, puffs, wafer cookies, basic butter cookies.
Overall, do not recommend

Idea is fun...HOWEVER, customer service is TERRIBLE
I enjoy the concept and the boxes I have received were interesting along with the pamphlet with information on the country. HOWEVER, the poor customer service (can only email) is so bad that It outweighs any good score. I have emailed sooo many time have no response from them about a box that never arrived. Canceling!

Quality items, fast shipping, clear communication.
Quality items, a little odd but that's the fun part! Decently fast shipping, given the current pandemic. Clear communication, fair and honest pricing. A great box to travel the world without leaving your house!

Ah, Universal Junk Food!
I subscribed our family during the pandemic so that we would have something to look forward to while being indoors for extended periods of time. Our first box was the typical UK box. It was okay, but honestly, I wanted our tour to start off in some more exotic locale. I felt that for what I paid, it was a nice assortment of treats, many of which I had never seen before, despite traveling all over the place. Our family enjoyed it. Then, the next month, we had the Thailand box and then last month, it was the Egypt box. We've had so much fun opening these, trying them out, being grossed out at some of the yums and filling out and learning about the different countries the boxes take us to.
Pros:
* I order the largest box and I feel like we get a pretty good assortment of "weird" stuff to "tasty" stuff regardless of what country we're doing. Is it worth the cost of the box? So far, since it includes the shipping? Yes. Compared to other box subscriptions (looking at you, Japan Crate), this is worth your money.
* Not only do we get to experience new places through weird snacks, but they always send you a scorecard (very colorful, fun illustrations)and a pretty informative guide about each place with a run down of all the treats and where they come from (if regional). I enjoy these so much that I've taken to keeping them.
* Customer service is awesome. The last box we received came to my doorstep damaged and partially opened, and one of the treats was missing. I contacted CS through their FB page and someone looked into it within a couple of days, came back to me, and shipped out an entirely new box free of charge. All because one "yum" was missing. Staff were always polite to me as well.
* There is a pretty decent assortment so far between sweet and savory, which I appreciate.
Cons:
* Can't select between countries. I've seen several long-term subscribers complain that they visit the same countries too often and that they end up skipping boxes because of it. It'd be nice if they could offer up too different choices each month or a country box and a country "theme" box built around a specific festival, cultural importance or otherwise country specific theme. That way long term subscribers still have something new to look forward to each month.
* The shipping company they utilize in the US is really hit or miss. That's not the fault of the company, but yeesh... only one out of the four boxes I've received so far has come undamaged.
* While I love junky snacks, it would be interesting to see more traditional pre-packaged food items offered in the boxes. Something with regional or cultural significance. I do understand that those types of snacks would be quicker to expire and that might be why they are unable to do it, but still.. it would be very interesting.
Overall, out of all the box subs I've tried during this pandemic (and that's adding up to be a LOT), I like this one so far the most. It offers the most for the money out of the ones I've started and received product for, the shipping is usually pretty fast from the time they ship the box and their customer support is actually.. supportive.

Doesn’t represent UK snacks very well
I have seen a lot of people doing the ‘trying British snacks’ videos on YouTube and they use this company. I don’t think this company represent UK snacks very well as everything in the box is either from Wales or Scotland which obviously is a part of the UK but they should include items from Scotland, Wales and England. I’m always seeing other brits commenting on the videos too saying they’ve never heard of the items in the boxes. It’s a shame because so many people look forward to trying treats from across the pond (I know I do) but unfortunately they don’t get the full experience. Here’s a list of some British snacks below that you all might find helpful for your taste tests:
Chocolate:
-munchies
-galaxy bar
- galaxy minstrels
-galaxy ripple
- Cadbury creme eggs and mini eggs (normally sold around Easter)
- maltesers (the balls are the originals and in my opinion the best - think they are similar to whoppers from the US
- terrys chocolate orange
- aero mint
- dairy milk
- dairy milk caramel
- starbar
- Mars
- snickers
- curly wurly
- lion bar
- Milky Way crispy rolls
- milkybar
- magic stars
- bounty
- double decker
- flake
- whispa
- yorkie
- twirl
- twix
- crunchie
Crisps:
- walkers Salt & vinegar/ready salted/cheese and onion/prawn cocktail/roast chicken and smokey bacon (these are basically UKs version of lays)
- monster munch beef or pickled onion flavour
- walkers sensations Thai sweet chilli
- walkers sensation lime & coriander chutney poppadoms
- frazzles
- pringles (paprika/tandoori chicken masala/cheese & onion/salt & vinegar/sour cream and onion/prawn cocktail/bbq/smokey bacon) - not sure which ones aren’t just from the UK
- hula hoops - beef flavour are my fave
- wotsits
- quavers
- nik naks
- skips
- McCoy crisps - again various flavours such as salt & vinegar, bacon, steak, paprika etc.
Cakes/biscuits:
- mr kipling Cherry bakewells
- mr Kipling french fancies
- mr kipling angel slices
- mr Kipling battenbergs
- milk chocolate digestives/plain digestive biscuits
- rich tea biscuits (personally don’t like these)
- Bourbon biscuits
- custard cream biscuits
- jammy dodgers
- wagon wheels
- party rings
- hob nobs original and chocolate hob nobs
- pink wafers
- all butter shortbread biscuits
- Jaffa cakes
- milk chocolate teacakes
Sweets:
-Haribo party mix
- haribo tangfastics
- dolly mix
- Percy pigs
- Bon Bon’s
- wham bar
- pink/blue refresher bar
- Moaom pin balls
- Chewits
- skittles
- wine gums
- fruitella
- fruit pastilles
- dip dab
- jelly babies
- refreshers
- milk bottle sweets
- Swizzles drumstick squashies
- Starburst
- flying saucers
- bassetts sherbert
- liquorice allsorts
Other random treats
- Scones (people put raspberry or strawberry jam on these with clotted cream)
- crumpets (we have these warm with butter on so the butter melts)
- Heinz or branston baked beans (warm these up in a pan or in the microwave) we would have these with a full English breakfast, on jacket potatoe normal with cheese too and we also have these with a chips and chicken nuggets or sausages type dinner.
- marmite - this is a spread that you have on toast. You only need a little bit as it’s quite strong. We have a saying over here ‘you either love it or you hate it’ because it’s such a different taste
Loads more I haven’t listed but hopefully some people will find this useful when they are looking for some UK foods.

My family and I love this box…
My family and I love this box subscription. We love trying new foods, even if we don't like it. We each try a piece and rate it. Its always on time and never had any trouble with our boxes. We are thinking of getting it next year too. I would highly recommend the year's subscription. We like to pick out the weirdest flavors and record our reactions to them. Then if we love one we write it down and I try to find it on Amazon to order more.

ALMOST AS BAD AS SNACK CRATE!!! Don't waste your time I see ads for this on telly all the time but what they don't admit is that they FALSE ADVERTISE!!! You will get NONE of the candies shown online. Better off getting sweets from the corner shop.
