Get .ru domains!
Response from uniteddomains.comApr 18, 2018
Thank you for your kind feedback, Aleksandrs! We do not currently offer the .RU among the hundreds of domain extensions we sell, but we're adding new ones all the time. Be sure to check back with us in the future to see our latest offerings! Thank you again, and best regards, Travis at UD

They seem to sell your email address to all kinds of people who then write you to offer their design services etc... I was not aware of that... it takes down the 4 to a 1.
Response from uniteddomains.comApr 13, 2018
Thank you for your feedback. We absolutely do not share or sell any customer information to any third party, period. All domain registrars are required by ICANN to enter a domain's contact details into a public database. This does allow a publicly registered domain to receive unwanted spam from third parties who may mine this database for contact details. We stress that any such third parties are not affiliated with United Domains in any way. Our team has reached out to you directly about this, and we'd love an opportunity to help improve your experience with us here. Will you please get back to us at [email protected] when you are available? Thank you! Best regards, Travis at UD

Once I purchased, there was an undisclosed hold on my domain. It was not clear to me that my contact information needed to be re-confirmed, until I put in a support ticket. This cost me time I could've been sharing my site as a contact.
Response from uniteddomains.comMar 29, 2018
Hi Jesse, and thanks for your feedback. ICANN requires domain registrars to verify that every registrant's contact information is valid and up to date, and we do automatically send a confirmation email to validate a set of new domain registration contact details. I hope this helps to clarify. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us. Best regards, Travis at UD
