Too expensive for the features
I'm used to top quality rowers, either in the GYM or home. I wanted to try a water rower and I bought this machine based on the 5* reviews - it couldn't have been more misleading. The machine seems to be sturdy, but only time will tell if it's made to last. The resistance is very good and gives you a good workout. CONS: (1)My tank is translucent gray and so is the water level indicator (seriously HD?). Useless to say you can't see the level. (2) Adding / removing water is a nightmare. (3) The LCD is the poorest quality HD could've found available in the market. It measures distance, intensity, time - but I would trust time only. And don't touch it because the screen is a thin piece of plastic. (4) If you really care about accurate counts, calories, etc.. (I do) don't even try it. It will be a wasted money. (5) $US700 for it is an outrageous price. Maybe $300 would be more appropriated. If you're seasoned rower and is used to quality rowers don't waste money and time on this machine. For the same price (or a bit more) you can find much superior product. Exemple, Concept 2D for $US900 for home use, average an hour/day, it will last your lifetime - the National Olympic Rower team use Concept for their training for a reason.
