I was scam for online transaction for 7k and disputed it with UB, They told me to send docs and I reach out to them ask where I can send it but no one response so I assumed to sent it where I got notified. Back then I never receive any response from them and they closed the case without informing me. This is so frustrating, they don't address the concern and poor customer service. They're not doing their job. The bank is terrible and I won't recommend this to anyone.

They are the worst bank ever. I don't even know why my company choose this bank. There customer service is so incompentent taking hours to reach you back and they are the worst of the worst. Never open an account with them they are useless. Can even resolved a simple issue and always giving wrong information. So if you're planning to put money on this bank I tell you they are rubbing you with every cent they can collect. These company is the worst of the worst in terms of banking system in the Philippines

If only there is a choice for less than 1 star I def would give it. My experience with them has been the worst ever so far. A simple card replacement delivery turned into a lengthy back & forth repetition, long waiting, just to be surprised that 1st card arrived at the preferred branch months prior but heard nothing at all from any party until the 2nd card that had to be reissued due to “non-receipt.”. Nakailang balik pa ako sa branch to ask for any update pero wala daw dumating. Out of frustration, disappointment, dismay, at inis na din, I had to bring out the kanal behavior dahil sumagad talaga sa dulo ng pasensya ko yung process. Kahit sa ending nakuha pa din nila yung gigil ko hayp na yan. Kasimpe-simpleng issue ng tracking of order and updating the system di man lang maexecute na para bang suntok sa buwan pagkaimposible. There is absomaderpakinlutely wrong and lacking in their procedure! At nakakabahala na in this day & age of technology, eto ang meron sila. Talaga nga naman oh! Kung sino man ang mga leaders ng related divisions, isang pakyu nyo! I’ve been aware na sablayin customer service nyo pero nakakap^t@ng!n@ tong naexperience ko mismo. Kung gaano ka smooth yung Citi dati, sya namang 8080 ng style nyo. Malas na lng talaga mga customers na nakaexperience at makakaexperience. Awa na lang!!

If I can give it zero stars I would. My issue is I need to update my contact number that’s used for OTPs and their support is difficult. Customer service is terrible. Customer support email listed on the website is outdated. When I tried to send an email it says it no longer accepts requests or complaints as of September 2025. When I call the Metro Manila hotline to seek for help, it’s also utilizing OTP. Now how can I get the OTP code if my issue is with my contact number? I tried their Facebook messenger support and it’s not responsive either. Everything I tried directs me to either use the app that is also needing OTP or call the hotline that’s also asking for OTP. For my issue which is needing to update the contact number associated to my account, I’m facing a dead-end because there’s no way for me to get help without using OTP that’s being sent to your contact number.

Worst customer service. Waiting time is too long. I went to the branch to ask help about updating my contact detail for my card. They asked me to call the hotline. I was able to talk to an agent. After asking for a lot of questions, she said to email them. After 3 days, none responded. I called their hotline again - and the agent just cut me and transferred me back to queue without even understanding my concern. Citibank is miles better.

Extremely disappointed with my experience with UnionBank of the Philippines. I completed my settlement more than a month ago, but I still have not received my Certificate of Fulfillment. I have followed up several times, yet I keep being told that it was already sent to my email. I have checked my inbox and spam folders, but nothing was received. The Collection Team / Support Services Group has also been extremely unhelpful. Instead of resolving the issue, I have been left repeatedly following up with no clear solution or urgency. I fulfilled my obligation, so the least I expect is proper documentation and basic customer support. After more than a month, this level of service is unacceptable and extremely frustrating. UnionBank should take responsibility, improve its communication, and provide customers with the documents they are entitled to receive. I settled my obligation. Now I just want the proper proof that it has been fulfilled.

UnionBank is okay for basic banking and the app is fairly easy to use. However, when it comes to unfreezing account. It was so difficult! I've been dealing with this issue for a week already. They said that if the funds were credited from SSS and PAG IBIG they will perform identity verification, where in they will freeze the debit account. You can't even withraw the money and do transfer as well. I called to their customer service and dealing with different agent, but they're just giving me the same answers and just running around the circle. I also requested to expedite the unfreezing of the account since I badly need the funds. They said that it will take 5 business days to unfreeze the account and It's understandable. But what if the person really need the money for emergencies? It's so disappointed that they don't have the consideration.
