I'm a 66 year old cancer patient who has been fighting for housing and living out of my car to save money to find a place to live. Prior to being assigned an advocate through Understood Care, I was experiencing so much burrocratic bs, there was no relief in sight to a never ending delima of finding a safe living inviourment which I could afford. Ms. Heidi Foraker, an Angel by all means, has went above every avenue and scope of her advocacy to make sure my needs were met. She is kind, understanding, knowledgeable, supportive and has no problem rolling her selves up to put up a righteous fight for her patients and their rights. I've been on a waiting list for housing for over 2 years. Ms. Heidi not only got responses from housing authoritues but, I'm fixing to be housed. Understood Care and Ms. Heidi, are the best advocates by far anyone has to offer and I would recommend them to anyone. Phone calls are returned quickly. My advocate, Mariah is very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient.

This is my second review, but I felt it was necessary. It is a rarity these days to find people who are genuinely involved in performing their company’s mission and services. I was at the point where I felt like a prisoner in my own house, I froze up when I heard the doorbell, stopped answering my phone and had anxiety problems through the roof. Since the day I started working with Corey, my anxiety levels came down and I have stopped being a hermit. He is excellent and has helped me out greatly and we’re still working on some things. I highly recommend Corey Nd UnderstoodCare. I feel like I’m starting to live again!

I recently had problems paying my electric bill and a advocate from understood care stepped in to help me her name is Talishia Williams she is so amazing even though we have very limited resources where I live she never gave up on me she truly cared about my situation and is still helping me.I would without a doubt or hesitation refer anyone having problems to contact this organization if in need of help and if your lucky enough to get her as a advocate for you consider yourself extremely lucky. Thank you again Talishia williams you have gone above and beyond for me even helped me through my anxiety. Your a blessing.

This is my first time with understood care and they have help me understand there is help for seniors i want to say thank you for all there time and patience with me and for giving me the information that was needed

Tira is a great person she has been extremely supportive and helpful and that's what I need in my life right now.. she is in the process of helping me to get an apartment with washer dryer. So I can keep my things clean and for that I am forever grateful to her. I can feel she really cares about helping people

Kara was very informative, knowledgeable and listened to my needs and help with resources that I needed. She also follow up to make sure I got the resources I need.
