Hi ordered a product from US to India on Nov 21st. The product is Bond-touch. Uncommongoods use BorderFree as their delivery partner and this company uses DHL express as their carrier. Uncommongoods said its going to take 15 days to deliver the item. But its more than that I couldn't get the delivery. Because the product was bond-touch, I placed the shipping address to a house address of my friend and wanted the delivery there. Which is 1 lane behind our house. But now DHL express is asking for an address exact matching proof of the consignee. Since my address in the documents is different than shipping address, DHL Express asked me to send a confirmation letter of change in address from Borderfree. When I asked BorderFree, they said we cannot provide that. When I asked UncommonGoods, they gave me this following response in a mail. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The parcel is rejected at the door and returned by the carrier. On receipt of the parcel, the appropriate refund (as per your returns policy) will be processed. Or delivered as agreed at which time you may issue a credit return label to the customer. " -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In indian currency, this costs over 14,000 rupees. I am not sure about my product when I will be receiving. It just takes a minute or so just to send a confirmation mail for change in address and still borderfree (uncommongoods carrier) is not providing and stuck still with the customs. Saw some reviews getting answered, I am trying to get solution for this without loss of money.

Just read Tess' review and my jaw dropped in astonishment as my experience is much the same. I ordered a tide clock and specifically stated which beach on the east coast I was wanting to use. My order arrived, and as I looked at it (unfortunately, later, not immediately), noticed the city coastline was highlighted, not the specific beach (the specific beach was at the bottom right of the clock). Called the customer service group and was assigned to a Kimberly. Kimberly was very nice, but could not help, because as she stated "I had been sent a proof and ok'd it". Actually, I did NOT receive the proof. I've ordered other custom items from Uncommon Goods, and have approved the proof, so know I did not get one for this particular order. Kimberly acknowledged that my order stated "beach" but that is not what I received. She said she would get in touch with the vendor and let me know what they said. Guess what....the vendor said since it was a custom order, they would do nothing to make it right. I will NEVER order from this company again, and now fully understand why their YELP star rating is only 2.77. I've even followed up with two emails to Kimberly asking for something...even offered to pay full price for another product...again, guess what, no reply. Uncommon Goods does offer unique products, but are not very ethical in their business practices. Be aware before you buy any of their custom products.

Sono scandalizzata. Per un'acquisto di 74€ avrei dovuto pagarne quasi 80€ per spedizioni e tasse. MA STIAMO SCHERZANDO?????? CHE SCHIFO!!!!!! Un sito pieno di ottime idee regalo ma una truffa unica. Schifo schifo schifo.

Terrible experience. I ordered a custom made pillow for a gift. They misspelled the name of the baby in the pillow and are refusing to re-do it or process a refund. I paid $153 dollars for a pillow that's worth $5 just because it was customized. They say there is nothing they can do. Don't believe their friendly wording or customer service when you buy. When something goes wrong they are irresponsable and provide the worst service and understanding I have ever seen. If you don't want to be ripped off go to another website.

The items never arrived and I was told a replacement order would be sent by 2 day express. When I received the confirmation it showed a standard delivery time and although I was told I would not be charged shipping because it was a replacement order, the shipping charge was on there. I was so frustrated I told them to cancel the order (it was done just 2 hours earlier) and they told me they couldn't do it on the phone.

I loved the idea of the 3 hydroponic herb kits I bought, however, I never got more than scraggly looking, unusable plants. They cost $60, which I shouldn't have wasted. I followed the directions closely to no avail. I don't think you should continue to sell this product.

I live in Australia and purchased a necklace as a present, giving myself 1 month for the goods to arrive. The website says goods will ship "within a few days" but when I had not heard for 5 days I sent an email. I was informed that international shipping takes "1 to 5 business days". I again did not hear for 8 business days so I emailed again and was informed that my package was lost. Very poor service and communication

Within minutes of placing an order, despite making sure to select NOT to receive spam, I started getting swamped with a couple spams a day.
