Good responsiveness through all the issues I had ordering product. Cant really put the whole of the wait time on you guys as FedEx messed up and then later my package was held for inspection. Good products, wish you guys still had the little pack advertised in the white-blonde hair guide on the website but I made due without.

Great toner if you want a pretty white color. I have used Ion toner in the past and this is much better.
Disappointed
Really lovely color! Defs brightened my blonde a bit. I noticed the product didn’t work as well with the spots that I tried to blend/work the product in. So I’m left with some warmer spots on ends and more towards grown out root.

Thank you for your kind comments. Next time, please do feel free to write in attaching a picture of your hair & we will be glad to suggest a way to deal with the warmer spots.

I’m giving four stars for now . I’ve only been a member for a few days and haven’t received my products yet. I will give another review then. But my all and all experience . Is ,, I found out about this company and it’s hair products and extensions from Pinterest. Then U tube I watched a video on tape on extensions and the hair dresser showed the beautiful locks of hair . Thick and beautiful. I’ve ordered on EBay and it’s not quite the product this looked like. Review when I receive. The only disappointment is setting up an account I had issues. Aldo the phone app is way different than the web page I like the web better when it comes to choosing extensions. It seems there is more showing on the web page. I love the selection but it’s hard as any other store to see the color the hair actually is. I love the buy now pay later option because these extensions are not cheap. I wish store would offer a full set of hair extensions without having to at double or triple for a whole head of hair like a wig . There is one price. But that one price is expensive. I do find the hair extensions and the hair products ate a reasonable price compared to other stores on EBay or Amazon stores like that.. you get what you pay for on these sites to anx it’s not the best quality on some . I will be purchasing more from this store .

Denise, Thank you for your review. Please note that we don't sell hair extensions, nor do we sell on Ebay.

I'm not a hairstylist, just an average woman stranded by COVID without professional help. I love that Ugly Duckling products are designed exclusively to help blondes eliminate brassiness. It's a specialty line that's long overdue in my opinion. I've already emailed the company so many times since the pandemic began, sending photos of my hair and asking for advice, which they've always given me. The on-line tutorials are explained in a way that means even non-professionals can follow and get good results. I love that each tube of hair colour is generous enough to cover my entire head of thick, medium length hair. My only complaint is that I live in Canada and the shipping cost from California to my mailbox is almost $40 per delivery, whether I buy one tube of colour or ten. In other words, I wish that Ugly Duckling products were available where I live -- maybe one day. I have yet to find the perfect colour to eliminate my brassiness without first bleaching my hair to a level 10 blonde and making many experimental purchases has been expensive but I'll keep trying. Thank you for this fantastic product line!

Thank you for your kind words. Just to explain our policies on international shipping...we used to use US POST to ship not just to Canada but to many countries in Europe and elsewhere. It was very reasonably priced and it allowed Ugly Duckling consumers to purchase just one or two tubes and not pay too much to get it shipped to where they live.. Unfortunately, ever since COVID these postal services have not been working that reliably. They do work, but very often they deliver really really late. When that happened we as the company had no option but to reimburse the consumer. Which became prohibitively expensive for us. So we have now moved to Fedex for international shipments, which is really expensive we know. But at least it is reliable, COVID or no COVID. For our European consumers, we will be launching local sales from later this year. At which point shipping fees will go down for UK, EU, Swiss customers. Unfortunately not for Canadians. I am so very sorry for this. We will keep looking at our ship options and try and improve where we can.

After a month and three weeks my poducts finely arrived! The ugly duckling bleach was wonderful and very careful to my hair. Though the Intense Pearl Blonde Toner was terrible. It hurts so much in the roots. I will not order the toner again but I will definately order the bleach! Thank you uglyducklingcolor.com
