Do not use this company! Provider will just stop answering you after you started the birth control and stop refilling your script and it will completely mess your body up and when you need it most. Time is only valuable to them and they will waste a lot of your time, procrastinating weeks and months because they can. The provider treats you like you are beneath them. Use a reliable, caring, and professional company, you are being warned!

I want a refund asap
I have been using this company for 3 months. I originally got a prescription with them for generic YAZ birth control. They sent me a brand one month, and a different brand without telling me the next month. I googled it, and thankfully it was similar to YAZ. I have a serious issue with their communication because it’s lacking totally and they don’t seem too concerned with a patients awareness of what they give you, when they change your plan, when things happen that need their attention which leads me to my ultimate complaint. I was waiting on my 3rd round of birth control and am on last 3 of my last pills of the 2nd month. I was surprised to have not received it yet. I look at my account and nothing out of the ordinary is going on. Says I should be receiving it on the 16th of June. It was the 20h when I looked. So I contacted the customer service line and eventually was told the following day they didn’t send it because the insurance I have needs an extra copay now. No thought to inform me well before this, nothing in my account, no apology. Now I am without my medicine and having to pay another doctor to get another prescription. This is total negligence to me and I will never, ever recommend a company this dismissive of my health, time, and money again.

Absolutely Incompetent
TwentyEightHealth is a joke. Don't waste your time or your money for people who are so incompetent that after a week's time of speaking with their doctor, are somehow still unable to submit a script to a local pharmacy, which is done digitally. It's like sending an email for these people, wtf. Additionally, what's the point of an online chat feature or even more insulting, a company phone number if it only goes to VM? I called within their phone hours AND I still can't get someone of the phone. This a joke for a "health company," that supposedly has the authority to prescribe medication. They clearly have no interest in retaining a new patient if they can't prioritize their health, who again, has been patient for a week already. That is NOT OKAY.

If I could rate this zero stars I…
If I could rate this zero stars I would. Customer service is a joke. It’s been over three weeks of excuses and no script. The customer service is a bot. Their system crashes when you try to enter info. It’s garbage and probably a scam. Run.
*Edit* I also have found no apparent way to remove my information from their site. They say again they are looking into it, but that’s going nowhere.

Do not recommend!
The birth control pill site has been unreliable for several reasons. First, I haven't consistently received my pills on time, which defeats the purpose of birth control. Additionally, their customer service is unresponsive; they often don't answer inquiries even during their stated chat hours.
Furthermore, the subscription price changed from free to $2.99 without any prior notification, which is unprofessional. To make matters worse, they attempted to charge me $12.99 for a subscription I never requested.
These issues—delayed shipments, poor communication, and unauthorized charges—make the service untrustworthy and unsuitable for managing such an important aspect of health.
I take birth control pills not as a contraceptive, but to manage severe period pain by stopping my period altogether and to be in extreme pain due to a missed pill because they seem to not send it on time is really messed up😓😡

Do not trust this company, SCAM
They charged me and my insurance, I met with a provider to get birth control and then they kept telling me I couldn’t get my medicine without seeing a provider. I repeatedly contacted customer service telling them I met with the provider on zoom and they still won’t give me the medication I paid for. I informed Medicaid and canceled my account. This is 1000% a scam.
UPDATE : Their customer service is telling me this entire situation is due to them not accepting my insurance. The problem with that is they were given all of my information including my insurance policy number where I then saw a screen saying that my policy is accepted with 0.00 copay. They charged me money and I’ve already seen the provider and they want me to give them more money. No thanks I’ll go to a local doctor.

Hi Erica,
Thank you sincerely for reaching out and sharing this experience. My name is Kelsey and I'm a member of the Escalations & Billing Departments here at Twentyeight Health. This is definitely not the experience we hoped you would have with our service, and I sincerely apologize. I’m glad to resolve this concern to the best of my ability.
Collecting a payment of $12.99 is required in order to sign up with our service, as it covers the provider’s time to review your information and write a prescription. I understand that after an initial issue with your evaluation you were indeed able to be seen by your provider, but no prescription was written. I’ve followed up with you directly via email, with additional information regarding why this occurred.
I can clarify that we do not send a claim to insurance providers for the provider evaluation, as it is an out-of-pocket cost. However, because you were unable to be seen by one of our providers, we would have expected you to promptly be refunded this fee. We are always glad to review billing discrepancies, and I’ve promptly refunded $12.99 which you can expect to see reflected within 5-10 business days!
Our mission is to empower individuals with trusted information, affordable access and convenience for their reproductive and sexual health. As such, we are committed to learning from your feedback as we continue to evolve.
I’ve also followed up directly to the email associated with your account, but please feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns!
Sincerely,
Kelsey (she/her)

Steal from their customers!
Not to be trusted. Late in 2024, they switched to a monthly subscription model and opted all customers in without consent to the Standard Plan, which charges $12.99 per month. I emailed them in November 2024 to switch back to the Basic Plan, which is free and allows you to only pay for medication each month. Now, in April 2025, I'm finding that they switched me to the Standard Plan once again WITHOUT CONSENT and have been charging me $12.99 per month for the past months.
They previously also switched my medication to a more expensive alternative without notifying me. This company is incredibly unethical and money-hungry without a care for its customers.

Hi Karen,
Thank you sincerely for providing this feedback. My name is Kelsey and I'm a member of the Escalations Department here at Twentyeight Health. This is not the experience we hoped you would have with our service, so we truly apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment.
When we launched our monthly subscription model in April 2024, we provided all users with advance notice which included the opportunity to opt out and move to our Basic Care Plan. Beiing on the Standard Care Plan for at least 1 month is required in order to renew your annual prescription. This may be why you are once again on our Standard Care Plan.
We would truly appreciate the opportunity to look further into any pricing concerns regarding subscription and medication costs, to ensure we resolve any potential discrepancies. I've reached out to you directly through Trustpilot in order to do so and hope to hear back from you soon!
Sincerely,
Kelsey (she/her)
