Hi Samantha, Thank you for reaching out. I truly apologize for any misunderstanding. Transparency is very important to us, especially when it comes to the fees associated with our service. The $12.99 required upon sign up is explained in our website FAQ as well as noted on the Order Summary page at checkout. The $12.99 is an out of pocket cost not covered by insurance, but we can always provide an itemized receipt which you may be able to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to look further into any pricing concerns regarding subscription costs, to ensure we resolve any potential discrepancies.
