My husband lost his original wedding ring. It was very upsetting to both of us, as that ring had a lot of sentimental value, obviously. I normally would never order a wedding band online because I am the type of person who needs to see and touch something as important as that before buying it. And I also feel that what you see on the internet is not always what you get. But, I took a chance and ordered the Ardent 8mm and I was blown away when the ring arrived. First, I couldn't believe how quickly it arrived after I placed the order. Second, it is gorgeous. Dare I say I even like it better than the original wedding band?! :) My husband loves it, too. So happy I took a chance with Tungsten World. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

Tungsten carbide is a very hard and very heavy substance: about as hard as a sapphire if not harder, and somewhere between lead and gold in density. (I suspect the material used here, as elsewhere, is W2C sintered with cobalt.) Be careful of the weight factor when choosing your rings! That said, the Guinness style, 6mm wide rather than 8mm because of the weight factor, is perfect for me. Somehow I'd been sized incorrectly at a jeweler, but Tungsten World exchanged it with no problem, engraving and all, and shipped it as fast as they could. I look forward to having it put on at my wedding.

When trying to pick a band for my fiancé with a shamrock I search and searched the Internet until I stumbled upon Tungsten World and had just what I wanted! Easy to use website and great warranty!
