These stack up against 308 & 360BHMR
I tested these the same way I've tested every other type of ear protection I've tried. I brought my two loudest rifles to the range (Savage 99E .308 with 168gr loads & Henry H9 Provider .360BHMR with 180gr loads). The Field Ops Pro is the only brand that stacked up against those rifle's "barks" repeatedly (the .308 registers 150-160dB on average and the Buckhammer registers 177-185dB on average). I hear that I fired the rifles, but the report doesn't piece through the foam tips making my ears ring like other brands did. The responsiveness of the earbuds for the noise cancelling is impressive. Instantly dropping off when a shot is fired, and instantly returning to the prior setting when the report of the rifle diminished, allowing me to hear the bullet traveling down range, while also hearing the rain drops hitting the concrete 10ft away. The only improvements I'd like to see is microphone covers for wind gusts and quicker shipping.

Ordered the Pro buy two get one free…
Ordered the Pro buy two get one free about a month ago. So far they have exceeded my expectations. Quick and easy set up and use and they are comfortable. The only reason I give 4 stars, I can’t find how to order more tips. I’ve been using ear protection in one form or another for over 30 years and those rubber tips always degrade, rip and/or tear.

Take time to assure a good fit using the ear pieces provided
Shooting noise is suppressed well. An issue that I have is I cannot tell any difference between the preset options of the devices. Like you mentioned my hearing as been affected by years on the range and matches. I have Walker ear muffs and I can hear voices much better than with these. However, I purchased these to avoid interference with the stock on some guns. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Great experience with the ear buds
Great experience with the ear buds. My only complaint is from others on phone calls. They say it sounds muffled.

So far, so good.
So far, I’ve only used my ravine’s for music listening, and a few other experimentations with the sound magnification. I have noticed on one instance where I was using my headphones to play music from my iTunes and I had one of the tracks where the left side headphone cut out during the track that was being played. It’s only happened once and I hope it doesn’t repeat. Generally I do enjoy using them. I just need to study up on the instructions a little better so I know how to take phone calls. Looking forward to trying them out an actual shooting practice and see how that works. Thank you, Roger B.

The fit and connectivity are great but…
The fit and connectivity are great but I wish the sound dampening feature was more robust - gun shots at the range are still very loud. Also, I would like the lanyard that keeps to ear pieces together to be stronger.
