If I could have designed a cat water dish it would have been this. All 3 of my cats love them! I have one downstairs and one upstairs. The fact that the water dish itself is plate-like is one of the best features, none of the cats like drinking out of bowls after the water level dipped just a bit under the rim due to whisker fatigue. No whisker fatigue here!

The first purestream (Aqua One) I received from the start. However, upon contacting purestream through an email & stating the facts backed up with screenshots of supporting evidence confirming the TRUTH of what was delivered to me. Victoria immediately reached out to me & was sincerely apologetic & made arrangements to have another sent assuring me that it would be checked before shipping it to me. There were no costs. I exressed my thoughts on what ought to be done to improve the drinking fountain making it more better & efficient in the design, as well as the purchase cost, which would not affect their profit margin in making the changes. I recently received the replacement fountain NOT expecting any changes in the original design. It was delivered by USPS. Everything was fine and operates as claimed. My cst is still not trusting it yet, however, letting LOVEY adapt to the new fountain at her comfort level. She had just recovered from a UTI & bladder inflammation. Changed her diet to Sardines packed in Water, or extra-virgin olive oil & a vet prescribed Science Hill Dry Kibble food manufactured for cats who may be prone to UTIs genetically, or due to anxiety or stress after being abandoned or dumped by a previous owner & bring recently rescued & adopted. Lovey was abandoned & I adopted her & she is coming to relax realizing that when I leave the house for a variety of reasons, I am coming home to her & she gets a treat. I maje dure she has fresh food, water & clean litter box before I leave as she is strictly an indoor cat due to my age (77) and health issue. So far things are good & Lovey is calm & relaxed feeling loved, safe & secure in her new home environment where she is the only pet & gets a lot of TLC. I do not believe in writing a review 1st without trying to resolve the matter 1st with the Seller. I gave the rating a 5 based on my interaction with Victoria who was in constant communication with me until I received the replaced PureStream-Aqua One Drinking Fountain. I will be interested to see if the suggested design improvements (4) are made & packaging is improved & sent by an optional method of UPS at a reasonable & fair extra cost rather than USPS. If I see improvements in the next batch manufactured - will purchase. Yes it will cost more; but it will be PERFECT for the Owner & Cat. Their customer service is excellent based on my experience. I have not been paid, nor compensated, or given incentives in submitting this review. Would recommend a pet owner to purchase IF pet is prone to UTIs. CATS are NOT big drinkers of water like dogs (who are adorable pets too). This PS-Aqua 1 Water Fountain is constant in its circulation of fresh water & the owner has control in programming how often one wishes to have the water refreshed in having clean water for your pet. I have mine set at 12 hours (6:00 am & 6:00 pm). NO filter needed & a monthly clean with a vinegar rinse to descale it is a healthy way to keep the drinking fountain in good working order.

I bought 2 fountains for my 4 cats. One is still doing great but one decided to malfunction after only a week and half. I emailed Purestream, they quickly got back to me with a trouble shoot to try. They said if that didn’t work to send a video so I did and am waiting my replacement. I have never had such great customer service. Oh, and I just love the fountain that is still working. The girls do too!

Well, at first I had received my fountain and it had a problem with it and reaching out to customer service, they were so good to replace it with another free of charge after I sent the video of what it was doing. I was very impressed they helped out as soon as possible and got the problem resolved. Can't wait to get the replacement as I know my cat will just love it and it's healthy for her having this system! Thank you customer staff for reaching out to me and resolving the problem right away!

In June 2026, I purchased Pure Stream’s Aqua One pet fountain, which my cat loves! When I noticed non-stop dripping into the waste water container, I emailed Pure Stream’s and the next day, they sent detailed troubleshooting instructions that included a helpful video and manual. I was asked to provide an update on resolution and was advised that if the problem persisted, Pure Stream’s would replace the unit. When I reported the fix did not resolve the dripping, Pure Stream informed me they’d send a new unit, free of charge. They also reiterated the need to run a vinegar cleaning cycle to prevent rusting on the drain spring. I just received the shipping notification within 5 days of my initial outreach. Pure Stream’s communication and customer service are outstanding and their representatives are kind and responsive! Not only does Pure Stream value its customers but demonstrate sincere dedication to pet health through hydration! I cannot thank them enough for their support and assistance!

Their fountains are not perfect but there is no perfect fountain on teh marketplace IMHO. They have been very responsive to my questions and in resolving questions and issues. I like teh idea of clean water bing available for teh animal and not recycled water that is full of bacteria.

The fountain did take time to arrive but that was stated up front. At first it emptied too fast due to a slow drip. I contacted them and they walked me through steps to fix the issue. It did not resolve the first time but did by the second try. They were responsive and willing to help. My cats love it and I feel better about the quality of hydration they are getting. I’ll probably get another one.
