The USB power cord is very flimsy. The USB portion broke after the third use! I contacted them about it and it was replaced in a few weeks. However, it broke again after a few months of use. I have had phone chargers and other chargers last 5 years without any issues and with more aggressive usage conditions. I requested to purchase another cord, but was denied and told I would have to buy the $100 power charger. I can't be the only one who has experienced the USB portion of the cord breaking!! It is very poorly made!! I tried to find a replacement online but the piece that connects to the wrap is specific and unique and I am unable to use the Halsten wrap after I spent $180. I am truly disappointed. I was willing to purchase another cord, even though it is of the poorest quality.

Like others, I was totally taken by the slick marketing video on Instagram. I am menopausal and was having hip pain. It made sense so I ordered it. My first red flag was the shipping confirmation from China. I received the Stride fairly quickly, sat it on a table and never even opened it. In the meantime, my Dr was able to completely relieve my pain with one dry needling & stem session. Turns out my pain was a seized up muscle and the dry needling shocked it into relaxing. Yay me! I reached out via email to return the device in the unopened package. The response was that shipping could be expensive and they offered a 20% refund back to keep the device. I declined that offer. Today's response was to offer a 30% refund, a gift card for the full amount to be used on their site in the future or a free wireless module for the Stride. I read these Trustpilot comments with shipping costs and decided to accept the 30% refund. I don't know if they would have offered more if I'd declined. Still an expensive lesson, that I WON'T make again, but at least I get a little something back.

Haven’t tried it yet I’m scared because I’ve read all of the bad reviews on it but all I got was the hip brace I got no books no instructions. No nothing. Wish me luck.

I bought into all the impressive marketing ads. Why wouldn’t I? The marketing is brilliant and targeted to women of a certain age who are in pain daily. Women like me whose quality of life has been affected by this sudden hip pain. We want help and we want to believe that Halsten Stride is the answer. We can’t really afford the product but we pull out the credit card anyway. I’ve had mine for a week now (it took 2 1/2 weeks to get from China, another lie) and I’m going to use it every day for 90 days BUT what I received is NOT what is in the ads. What I got looks like a cheap knock-off of what is pictured in the ads. It is ill fitting on my size 12 hips and legs so I’m not using it as a wear on. I’m sitting and placing just the pad under me. The lights are what is supposed to help and that is a 60 light pad that covers about 7.5 in. by 4.5 in. area. BUT, my greatest concern is that if these people (yes, in China) would make false claims about and send something that is not what they are showing, why would they be truthful about the quality of the lights they are putting on this small area covering light pad? It’s shameful. I will continue to use it for the full 90 days and then if it doesn’t work, I will be seeking a refund. IF it works, I’ll be back with a positive review. For now, I hate being lied to so I would not recommend this product simply based on the deceptive marketing.
