Have tried lots of hair fibres/sprays and this is a keeper! Took a while to get the hang of it and have found less is best and that it really stays on when sweating. Now it is so quick and easy and not clumpy like fibres. Great product!

The product is not as advertised and…
The product is not as advertised and rubbs off on hand and pillows.
This is not what was advertised.
The product does help to cover up areas but unfortunately not as advertised.
I am very disappointed and thought this would be fantastic alternative product to change to.
UPDATE: I had a reply from my comment on the 17th December stating that the product is not water proof etc. I am sorry but if you show someone who dunks their head under water and rub their hand through their hair after, I would expect the same which I have not.
You also mentioned in a email to me after complaining, you stated about the option of using hairspray to keep the product in place and to stop transfer. The videos on your web page do not show this after being applied and again show now transfer on hand when rubbed. The hair spray is noted as an option and not as a requirement.
This product is simply not as what I expected and lead to believe and was mis sold.

Hi James,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations.
HAIRO is designed to help visually densify areas where there is still some existing hair, even very fine hair. The microfibers need that minimal base to attach properly. On areas that are completely smooth or severely depleted, the result can indeed be limited — and this is something we clearly specify, as the product cannot behave like a permanent paint or coating on bare skin.
Regarding transfer on hands or pillows:
HAIRO is not a waterproof or fixed varnish. When too much product is applied, or when the area is rubbed strongly (hands, pillows, intense sweating), some transfer can occur. The best results come from using very small amounts, applied gradually and tapped into the roots rather than spread.
That said, we understand your disappointment, especially if you were hoping for a different level of performance, and we truly regret that HAIRO wasn’t the right solution for you.
If you’d like, our support team ([email protected]) would be happy to help you with application tips or discuss possible solutions. We appreciate your honest feedback, it helps us improve and be clearer for future customers.
Kind regards

Definitely nothing like adverted !
Definitely nothing like adverted !
It’s probably worse than a normal hair fibre!
It’s not water proof and stays in your hands , towels and pillow !
It also doesn’t cover as well as other hair fibres!
I wouldn’t say it’s a scam , but the advert is definitely 100% fake !

Hi Rodrigo,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that HAIRO didn’t meet your expectations! We'd still like to clarify a few important points.
First, our videos are 100% real. They are filmed using HAIRO as demonstrated, without digital effects, filters, or fake results. What you see in our content reflects what the product can do when applied correctly and on suitable areas.
HAIRO is not a waterproof coating or a permanent fix. Like all hair fibers, it is designed to attach to existing hair, even very fine hair. On areas that are very sparse or completely smooth, coverage will naturally be more limited, which may explain the difference you experienced compared to other products.
Regarding transfer:
HAIRO resists light moisture and normal daily activity, but strong friction (hands, towels, pillows) or excessive application can cause transfer. Applying small amounts and tapping the fibers into the roots is key to avoiding this issue.
We understand your frustration, especially if the product wasn’t what you hoped for! However, we want to be very clear that nothing in our advertising is fake, and we strive to be transparent about the product’s capabilities and limitations.
If you’d like help with application tips or have questions about your specific case, our support team would be happy to assist you.
Kind regards,
AB

Bought it for my friend...
Bought it for my friend. Make dirty. hair fibers are much better. Also the hair looks not shiny!
Response from HAIRODec 17, 2025
Hi Andrea,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry to hear that your friend’s experience with HAIRO wasn’t what you expected.
HAIRO does not make the hair dirty by design. The fibers are clean, cosmetic-grade, and meant to bind to existing hair to create a density effect. A “dirty” or heavy feeling usually happens when too much product is applied, or when it’s spread instead of lightly tapped into the roots. In that case, the fibers can sit on the scalp rather than attach properly to the hair.
Regarding shine: HAIRO is intentionally formulated to give a natural, matte finish, as most customers prefer a non-shiny result that blends better with real hair. This is a design choice rather than a defect.
We understand that preferences vary and that some people may prefer other types of hair fibers. Still, we appreciate your feedback as it helps set clearer expectations for future customers.
If you or your friend would like application tips or have questions, our team would be happy to help.
Best regards,
KR

Product rubs off!
Application is simple and looks very natural, but the product does rub off on pillows and fingers when touched. I bought this product so it wouldn't do that. And instead of a powdery mess I have more of a waxy one on my pillows

Honest opinion
People are bashing this product. But the reality is it's actually not bad, it's more like sticky Matt colour rather than the loose fibres that require tons of hairspray and need to be put in properly dispersed which takes twice as long. There are copy cat variations out there are half the price which is the exact same, just different branding logo on the product.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your honest opinion, we really appreciate it. You're right: there are copycat versions out there. However, these copies are often not safety-controlled, and their ingredients can vary or be unreliable.
To ensure safe, verified ingredients, we always recommend ordering through our official website.
We’re also the only ones offering 10 g jars (around 35 standard uses), which is 2.5× the size of most copycats on the market.
Thanks again for taking the time to leave your review! 🙏

Purchased 3 but unable doesn’t work…
Purchased 3 but doesn’t work like they showed , very disappointed
Response from HAIRONov 24, 2025
Dear Matthew,
Thank you again for your feedback and for giving our product a try. We are very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your purchase of three units.
We understand your frustration, and based on what you've described - that the product 'doesn't work like they showed', we believe this might be due to a misunderstanding of how the compressed powder should be applied, or the specific characteristics of the area you are treating.
We want to ensure you get the best possible result, so we kindly ask you to check the following points, which are crucial for the effectiveness of our micro-fibers:
Requirement for Existing Hair: Our fibers are designed to cling to existing hair, even if it is very fine. It is essential to understand that HAIRO cannot give a natural result on a completely smooth scalp or an area with total hair loss. If the area is entirely bald, the result will be limited, as the fibers have nothing to grip onto.
Application Technique: Less is More: HAIRO is a compressed powder, not a paint. The key is to apply very little material at a time. You must apply it directly to the roots/scalp and gently tap zone-by-zone. Applying too much or rubbing/spreading it will create a "pasty" look and greatly increase the risk of transfer.
Targeted Tapping: After lightly dusting the area, tap gently to ensure the micro-fibers only adhere to your hair and not the bare scalp. Afterwards, you can gently brush the area to remove any excess powder that didn't cling to the hair.
If you are dealing with significant baldness, this application technique requires a little more precision.
We are committed to finding a resolution. Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] with your order details. We would be happy to discuss your application method or even provide visual guidance to help you achieve the density effect you are looking for.
We value your business and are here to help you get the desired results.
Sincerely, The HAIRO Team
