Do not trust this company. They are more than a month late and I think they scammed me. No communication. They Put me on hold and then hung up. I paid 5600 and they have 100k worth of my stuff. I moved from guelph to calgary. I am involving police and consumer protection agency.

Huge scam. And unfortunately, it’s not his first time doing this. Can’t say we didn’t warn you.

They were 1 1/2 hours late arriving. They did not set everything up at the moving location. There was much damage to pictures and furniture. Boxes were marked for rooms to be deposited, they just dumped everything in the basement leaving us seniors to move them to the proper location. No response to emails for compensation. Would not recommend them to anyone. Totally irresponsible, no customer service with follow-up.

The moving guys were great. The people running the operation are very shady. First they were going to match other movers quotes. I should have known then that they were not operating with integrity. Then the actual cost was more than twice the quote but I only went over by a third in weight. To put salt on the wound they would not take a credit card payment for the final invoice. It had to be etransfer. Yet they took my credit card for the deposit! They said it was in the contract I signed on moving day. Bad on my for not reading all the fine print! Anyway I’m in between jobs right now and an extra $4k in cash is not easy to come by! Stay away they are not above board. Sure wish I looked at the reviews first! A little update from my earlier post. Now they are telling me 6-10 days before I get my things! Zero integrity and accountability! Stay away from these people.

Using this guys is the worst thing you could ever do to yourself. Apart from the fact that their rates are not as they initially state, they’ll damage and misplace your items and then send you their ridiculous terms saying you aren’t entitled to a claim. The staff are rude and will literally cuss you out. You’re better off using a camel to transport your things than using this guys. Definitely the worst decision I have made in a while.

I wish I could give these jerks a lower rating than one star. I lost my husband last July to a massive heart attack, 4 days before he was retiring. We were all devastated, he was my soulmate. I am no an acreage, on my own, and it is too much for me to handle, so for the past year, we have been cleaning up the property that we have resided on for 35 years. So much to do, so little time. Prairie winters come in fast and furious and hang around forever. With the help of my son and daughters, we got a lot done, and while in my state of grief, I began my search for a moving company, as I knew I would be needing one the following spring. I went through a search engine that broadcast to multiple companies, and was overwhelmed by the 30+ emails I received. I wound up going with the ine that was consistently messaging me, which was True North. Loads of correspondence back and forth, until the day they arrived and picked up PART of the load. They were late, I showed them what was there to be picked up, they left, and came back 2 hrs later, which was now almost 2:30. This was June 19th. They worked until 6:30, loaded soem stuff from the house and most of the stuff in the sea can. Then they packed up, telling me another truck would be here on Monday to get the rest. When they left, I got my dogs inside and went to have a bath, because I had been running around with them most of the afternoon. While having said bath, they texted, emailed and called wanting immediate e transfer. Of course, the amount had increased, but I also knew this was standard practice to pay half after pickup. So I did the transfer and then they wanted PROOF. I sent that, which I thought was rather shady, and then I sat down to look at what I actually got charged. They charged me for 6.5 hrs of work, when they only worked 4. I contacted the drivers. No answer. I emailed the office, repeatedly, asking for clarification. I waited all day Monday for a truck that never showed. I also asked for verified scale tickets a few times. Silence. Meanwhile, I was planning on departing for my new home in BC to do some prep work before the movers would arrive. So I had to postpone the pickup of the rest of my belongings until my return 6 days later. I FINALLY was informed that I had paid 6.5 hrs because 2.5 is for DELIVERY. I didn't receive weight tickets until July 2. Then I palyed the waiting game, for the second truck and for a delivery date for the first truck. No second truck ever showed up. No delivery date was ever given, and the one time I was speaking with the movers, they informed me that if they got stuck out at my place, that I would have to pay $450 to get them removed. That was when all the red flags went up. What legit company doesn't have fleet protection for their service vehicles? I then canceled the second truck, told them a number of times, both the office and the drivers that I only wanted the one truck to deliver, and then we would be done business. No answer. Crickets. So just yesterday I went to RCMP out here to get a little "push" given to these guys to respond. Then, i heard from the driver, telling me a delivery date and time would follow. Then about 6 or 7 rapid phone calls arrived, all from various office guys. I never answered any of them, I wanted them to have some of the same silence that they had given me. Then it was a series of emails, the first couple were wanting me to pay the balance PRIOR to delivery. The lasy one was from Myles I believe, wanting to "talk". Nope. Emails is the way to do it, no "hesaid/she said" BS. I had already caught them in numerous lies via email by this point. So I sent them an email early this morning, stating that I will ONLY do a final payment upon delivery, inspection and inventory of my belongings. I havent heard a peep all day from them. So I guess I am returning to the RCMP tomorrow, I just wish I had my printer because I brought it and my laptop and some other stuff out to my new place. I have a whole bunch of saved emails and conversations, and the emails requesting me to pay upfront before delivery. If there is ever a lawsuit that goes forward against these scumbags, please let me know. I am totally in on it. BTW, I ordered and received an BSB (big steel box) yesterday and at this point on time I dont even mind having to fill it myself. I should already be in BC in my new home with my dogs, and have most of my unpacking done. But because of this fart fest, I will still be unpacking out there when that dreaded first anniversary date arrives on July28, when I lost the love of my life
