Discovering TrueLink has been a powerful tool as a co-trustee for a Special Needs beneficiary. I appreciate the ability to specify that this card can only be used by the beneficiary for food/groceries only. Following the purchases online helps me oversee his spending without controlling it.

Pretty good, customer service is usually speedy (if you email). They need to focus on developing more options for how to monitor spending (example: setting spending limits per category for a duration of time instead of single transactions) than on how their site looks. Aside from that, Truelink is useful, customer service is good, and we use it for almost all our clients.

In 2021 it took a very long time to receive a card for a new client. I was told this was due to the Pandemic and the card maker. However, I also had to get three cards before I got one that would work. I think that problem was on True Link, not the card maker. Also, some of my clients cannot afford the $10.00 per month service fee. It would be helpful if you had a program for indigent people on Medicaid or other Federal and State support and cannot afford even the $10.00 fee, but who would like the autonomy of having their own debit card. Thank you. (I am a Certified Professional Guardian in Washington State).
