Susan, Thanks for ordering your B&W prints from Fromex True Black & White. I am sorry that you were disappointed with the prints. You should call or email us immediately. First of all, we guarantee that every print meets your expectation or we will reprint it at no charge or refund your payment. Black & White can be printed from high contrast with deep blacks and brilliant whites, to a lower contrast with a full tonal range in between. Density can also vary drastically on any print. What type of B&W you like can be very different than what another person likes. We print somewhere in between the extremes for what we think looks good to most customers.
