Where do I begin? When I reached out to Robert & Glei... let me tell you... I was not in a good spot at all. I had just shaved my head for the 3rd time, thinking "here I go again", knowing that once that hair grew back again, I would feel the urge to pull again. I was in college and desperate for help. I asked the Lord for hope in an area of my life that felt uncontrollable. I am a real person, who has struggled for nearly a decade with Trichotillomania. With much confidence and hope, I am telling you that there is hope! There truly is. My mom took me to so many therapists and consultations... however it wasn't until I took it upon myself to say "ENOUGH" that I reached out. It truly was life- changing. My experience with Robert and Glei has immensely blessed me. My hand was held every step of the way. I learned about myself and the ways that I would handle situations.. not knowing that I was in control the whole time. They teach you how to see that! Thank you Glei and Robert for committing yourselves to walk alongside people who feel helpless and in despair. I was once bald and in such a dark place, but I am now with a full set of hair and eyelashes that are slowly growing back. While there are times that I forget principles that I learned (pulling here and there), Robert and Glei have graciously brought me back to what I already know. Before starting the program, I had fears of not being understood, or being a loss cause... but that couldn't be further from the truth! Robert and Glei are true experts in this area. Robert and Glei are the best counselors I’ve ever used and truly care about their clients.
