Thieves! BIGGEST SCAM! They pretend to make a booking without giving you a reservation code and then tell you to wait 48 hours, when you start complaining, they say that they canceled the ticket! I don’t understand how they aren’t arrested for fraud!

Horrible horrible horrible. Guys stay away! I booked for 2 passengers with a very good price and provided my creditcard info (though I warned them to my bank). Got a booking confirmation from them, but after 5 min they called me and informed me thats an advertised price, the price was available). What a joke! Now they offer me something at triple price, what a disgusting business policy. They have a lot of supervisor (with indian accent haha) hang up on me and told me to stay where I am rather than travelling. Checked other people reviews, they do the same. DO NOT BOOK WITH THE TRAVEL MAKERS. I purchased a Rome holiday package through Wowcher for £418 and my experience has been extremely frustrating from the start. After redeeming my voucher, I contacted The Travel Makers regarding my booking. I was told that someone would call me back within 30 minutes. No one called. I then had to ring again and was told somebody would contact me the following morning. Again, no one contacted me. I rang for a third time and was advised that somebody would be in touch later that day because they were booking the holiday for me. Once again, I heard nothing. Due to the complete lack of communication, I emailed to formally cancel my booking on 20 May 2026. Despite this cancellation request, I later received an email on 26 May requesting passenger names, dates of birth, contact details, voucher information and addresses in order to complete the reservation. I provided all of the requested information on the same day for both bookings. Despite doing everything asked of me, I still did not receive the booking confirmation I repeatedly requested. I continued chasing by email and telephone but was met with delays, missed callbacks and conflicting information. I was later informed that I had not supplied the required booking information, despite having written evidence proving that I had. The most frustrating part of this experience has been the constant chasing, poor communication and lack of accountability. At every stage I have had to follow up myself whilst receiving little to no meaningful response. I have retained copies of all emails showing my cancellation request, The Travel Makers' request for passenger information, my response providing all requested details, and my follow-up emails requesting confirmation and updates. I am now pursuing a formal complaint and a PayPal dispute in an effort to recover my money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking a holiday through The Travel Makers. This has been an extremely stressful and disappointing experience that could have been avoided with proper communication and customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would.

They are nothing but a scam tried to make a reservation for a rental car. I called to make sure it was correct. With rental car company. They had dates wrong and name wasn’t even correct. What they e-mailed to me looked correct but what they booked was totally wrong. Stay away from these fraudsters now we’re fighting over deposit

I booked a trip on wowcher. Thinking wowcher a legitimate company. The holiday is through the travel makers. Absolute scam. They initially sent me a email. They then phoned me after 2 days. I phoned them on numerous occasions with no reply. I agreed to all the terms including the worst flights ever and they said they would get in touch to confirm the booking. It’s 4 days later and I’ve not heard anything, no reply’s to my emails, no answering the phone. Absolute scam, they just want you to pay a premium for different flights and if you don’t they disappear. Please I urge you not to use this company, read the other reviews( unfortunately I didn’t) it’s a complete SCAM and now wowcher won’t respond to me either.

This is a full on scam. They sold me a ticket from Seattle to Phoenix. I never got the ticket. I emailed them and some clown called me at 4:45 am saying that that price was only for the tax on the ticket and I needed to pay an additional $250 for the ticket. I said no way you scammer. He said my original purchase was non refundable and they would take my money. I called American Express and put a stop to that scam! Do not use this place. Don't even open an email or go to the website. It's all a scam

I am writing on behalf of my 18‑year‑old daughter. She bought two Wowcher vouchers on 15 December for a Prague trip advertised at £140, having checked that 16–19 January was shown as available at that price. After redeeming the vouchers, Travel Makers called (Which I heard as it as on loud speaker) and said those dates would cost an extra £99 per person. When she declined, they spoke over her, were patronising, and pushed alternative dates she cannot make. She requested a refund on 16 December; no booking has been confirmed, yet they refused and told her to take it up with Wowcher. She works part time while studying and saved for this as a gift for her boyfriend; she cannot make the alternative dates and cannot afford the extra charges, so her savings are now tied up in a trip she cannot take and she has no funds for a replacement gift. The whole experience has been stressful, frustrating, and very time‑consuming. In our experience, this felt like a bait‑and‑switch: advertise one price, add costs at booking, then stonewall refunds. Based on this, we would urge others to avoid Travel Makers.

SCAM SCAM brought gift for my wife a month ago for a xmas market break. Paid via WOUCHER who have not helped at all. Still not got my itinary for next week nor have I got my money refunded. My phone numbers are blocked. The agents were very rude and just laughed before puttting phone down on me. They dont deserve even 1 star.
