I liked Traveler's joy
I liked Traveler's joy! It gave me preset options for specific places and allowed people to donate how much ever they felt was appropriate.

We're a small group of folks that started Traveler's Joy on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. However, it all really started in 2003 with the serendipitous meeting of our founders at the first overnight hut of the Milford Track in New Zealand. Taking the company from a muddy hike on the South Island to the world's most popular honeymoon registry in a few short years required a lot of work. Luckily we have the best team in the world! Traveler's Joy continues to grow into a new decade and we're all very excited at what the future will bring. If you have any questions, suggestions, comments, or quotes (or just want to say "Hi!"), always feel free to contact us! You are the lifeblood of our business and the keeper of our hearts.

Travelers joy was a great tool to use for my wedding registry. It was pretty easy to use. Service was prompt. Money was delivered in a just a matter of days as promised. The only problems I had was a couple minor things in creating my registry. It would have made it easier if it allowed you to enter the total amount for each item and then choose the denomination for the computer to divided it up. It was too confusing to try to figure out how many $35 I needed to to cover the $250 activity.

Honestly I loved everything about this site except for the percentage they take out of gifts you receive. I think it’s a little too expensive.

We had a great experience with Traveler's Joy. The good: It allowed us to blend items we wanted to purchase, especially expensive ones or things not from a big-box store, with things we wanted to see and do. The interface was easy to use (though it looks like they updated their site since our wedding, so I don't know what's changed), and it was easy to get our money. The not-so-good: Some of our family/friends were reluctant to use it because of the fees involved in the gifts, which added up to a lot on the more expensive items because they are a percentage of the total. They preferred to give us straight cash. But to put a cash gift toward an item on the list is a kind of involved process. Older relatives also needed a little extra help figuring out how to make a payment. Overall, it was a great option and more fun and personal than just collecting money.

Nathan, Thanks for this wonderful feedback. It is very much appreciated. This feedback will be shared with our entire team and we will work on a way to make giving cash toward an item an easier process. Thank you for using Traveler's Joy. Best Regards, Brandon Warner CEO & Co-founder Traveler's Joy

So glad we used Traveler’s Joy. It was simple to use for our guests and allowed us to track our gifts.

Overall the experience was good, easy to set up, guest could easily leave messages, transfer funds, etc. My only gripes would be the service % is a little high. I also did not like it wasn't easily accessible through mobile.

All in all not bad I just wish the transfers went through quicker. But not a bad experience one of the better prices per transaction that I found.

The presentation was nice, but it wasn't clear up front what the cost was going to be.
