About Traveler's Joy

We're a small group of folks that started Traveler's Joy on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. However, it all really started in 2003 with the serendipitous meeting of our founders at the first overnight hut of the Milford Track in New Zealand. Taking the company from a muddy hike on the South Island to the world's most popular honeymoon registry in a few short years required a lot of work. Luckily we have the best team in the world! Traveler's Joy continues to grow into a new decade and we're all very excited at what the future will bring. If you have any questions, suggestions, comments, or quotes (or just want to say "Hi!"), always feel free to contact us! You are the lifeblood of our business and the keeper of our hearts.

This was the best thing for my husband…
This was the best thing for my husband and I. Our honeymoon was 100% paid off before we even left and it was because of Traveler’s Joy. The small fee they take out was minor and did not make a difference. Would recommend registering here to anyone, and I already have

Traveler's Joy is a great way to…
Traveler's Joy is a great way to provide gift options for your guests aside from the traditional wedding registry and cash. It allows you to upload any photos you like and to add the text you want to describe the adventure of your choice. The system is very user-friendly and easy to track who gave what gifts and who has been sent a 'thank you'. And, the withdrawal of funds was smooth and simple with no problems. Many of our guests used it and commented on how neat it is and how involved in the experience they felt giving something "tangible". I highly recommend TJ!

Perfect way to register!
Traveler's Joy was the perfect way to give our guests a registry to choose from. We have lived on our own for years and don't need your traditional registry items. Our biggest goal was to have a great honeymoon and the registry is going to make that happen! We were able to share our plans with our loved ones and they enjoyed being able to gift us an experience instead of just hand us cash. So many people told me how great of an idea it was!

We heard about Travelers Joy from my…co-worker who attended a wedding with a Travelers Joy account!
We heard about Travelers Joy from my friend. We could’ve gone the normal route of wedding registries but we wanted something a little bit different. We enjoyed being able to use Travelers Joy for our honeymoon that our guests could “donate“ to instead of typical wedding gifts. It made everything so easy from planning, to determining costs and gave great ideas from other couples! We couldn’t of asked for more!
