Zero stars for Travelers ! Very unfortunate experience with travelers insurance. I’ve had them for three years. Then I find out I get an email harassing me, telling me I owe a payment for June when they didn’t process the payment. Then clearly, my July payment, which was my last payment of my policy, says I only owe 223, which I paid. Now more threatening emails from travelers telling me that they’re gonna continue charging me when they’re not even my insurance company anymore. They overcharge you. They cancel your policy. This is the kind of unfortunately deceitful company that you were going to deal with. No tickets, no accidents, no DUIs, not even a parking ticket, and this company threatens people that pay their payments on time. 223 a month for a guy that’s safe driver, this company, I believe, is predatory because when you’re close to a certain age, I believe that they are acting out of harassment and selectively enforcing you. Stay away from travelers as far as you can. go somewhere else because on every single platform, trustpilot, 1.4 stars, wallet hub, 1.4 stars, better business bureau ( not an accredited better business bureau company) Hundreds of complaints over all of these platforms against travelers. Then they threaten you and tell you you didn’t make the payment when you made it, but they didn’t process the payment. They threaten you with debt collection, they threaten you with lawyers, they threaten you with ruining your credit. These are the kind of people that unfortunately that you’re dealing with. Overpriced, terrible customer service, and they never fixed the problem. They always blame you for the problem when they didn’t process the payment ! Stay away from travelers at all costs. If you’re smart, you will stay away, because most likely they’ll probably deny your claim anyway !

I’ve been with Travelers for 16 years and regret every minute of it. Finally I cancelled the policy for the following reason discrimination from broker Jeffrey Krugman absolutely ridiculous no even words to describe rude unprofessional his license should be revoked I would recommend to old and new customers not to even deal with him. On top I have been assigned to two ridiculous claims adjuster Thomas Byrnes and Joel Ellison no communication whatsoever asking for information not providing any details horrible and example to old and new customer managers Sam Chan communicated but was given wrong advise the new manager that was assigned Jesse Kirk left three messages no response at all. The team is unprofessional again no proper communication not resolvable in a timely manners. From 0 to 10 all of them 0 no if no buts claims dept Ossy was asking for all my information and put me on hold that she will transfer to someone the phone got disconnected than I spoke to Linda she said you need to speak to customer advocacy sone Danielle did not even bother hang up the phone. Called customer advocacy dept Ashley she just can take message and not sure if upper management will return the call since the decision was made what decision can they explain. Only one department who truly was honest is subrogation department Mark Jerich and his boss Mr. Moser knowledgeable returned my call promised what is proper to be reimbursed and they absolutely did with honesty I appreciate boss of them and their team. If all would be as subrogation department everything would run smoothly 10 points to them about cancellation policy did anybody reviewed that letter it’s not even signed document this letter should go to garbage please reissue new letter with proper signature overall Travelers sucks customer service ridiculous hanging up the phone not explaining anything just transferring all over. So excited to be out of this hot mess TRAVELERS ins scamming people inside out

Travelers Auto Insurance couldn't provide us with usable proof of insurance for my son's driving test Our family has had Travelers Auto and Home Insurance for years. We have paid our premiums, and until recently, we had no reason to question whether the company's basic customer services would work when we needed them. Yesterday I took my son to take his driver's test and the DMV required proof of insurance. The digital insurance "card" available through Travelers' app was missing an identifying number the DMV needed to validate it. Our appointment was lost, and my son couldn't take his test. Once I got home, I called the customer service number listed in the app. This was not directly to Travelers, but to Goosehead - an agency that isn't listed on any of our documents. After struggling with automated menus and a chatbot, I finally reached a representative. They initially couldn't locate our policy using our policy number, names, address, email address, or phone number. We eventually managed to access the account through my husband's email, but the representative seemed confused about the missing contact information. The documents they sent were also problematic. Goosehead emailed me insurance cards that instructed me to check for a watermark on the front. The printed cards couldn't have that watermark, and the documents didn't even identify Travelers or Goosehead as the insurer or agency. The homeowners policy I was sent was just an unfilled generic form. I called again. After multiple transfers and lengthy holds, I eventually reached Travelers representatives directly. I explained that I needed usable proof of insurance promptly because my son needed it for his driving test. I was told that physical cards could be mailed, but they wouldn't expedite them. Management callbacks supposedly had a three-day wait, and I was told management wouldn't be able to help anyway. After spending hours trying to resolve this, I finally received a different set of cards by email. These identified Travelers and included the identifying number the DMV had requested. But then, after printing the cards, I realize they had failed to send a card for the actual vehicle my son needed to take his test in (the newest vehicle on our policy, which had been added three months earlier). I went back through the app and website, with help from a family member familiar with customer service systems and my husband. We couldn't find any other digital or printable cards containing the required information. On closer inspection, other policy documents online also appeared incomplete, with some pages containing only blank generic forms. I acknowledge that I should have checked every card before ending that last call. But after hours of dealing with conflicting documents, transfers, and representatives, I had reasonably expected that a request for proof of insurance for my vehicles would result in proof for all the vehicles on the policy. I've wasted an entire day trying to get basic legally required proof of car insurance (that I'd unwittingly been driving around without) and still don't have the situation resolved. I can only imagine the nightmare it would be if we actually needed to file a claim.

Terrible billing practices and shady customer service. They repeatedly missed billing cycles and then hit my account with erratic, unannounced price spikes that completely doubled and trippled my payments far from what I ever agreed to. When I finally canceled my policy over the phone and followed up with an email on June 11 to switch to a better, stable company, their system proved completely dysfunctional. Days after I canceled, they were still sending automated non-payment notices for a dead policy, and they never once attempted to call or communicate by phone. Now they've handed a bogus $57 charge over to a third-party collection agency. Without any phone contact with me . Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this company. I switched to a professional, reliable provider where my payments are always consistent and transparent.

My experience with Travelers Insurance has been extremely disappointing. Communication has been poor, the process has been frustrating, and I have not received the level of service or support I expected from an insurance company. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Travelers Insurance. I hope they improve their customer service, communication, and handling of customer concerns.

TERRIBLE ,TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE company. They screwed up on their billing and didn't do the autopay for 3 months and then (after the months have passed /no accidents etc) Bill me saying hey we screwed up you owe us $2000 or will cancel you policy. BAD business Travelers bad business. When I screw up in my business I own up and take the hit.

My experience with Travelers Auto Insurance was extremely frustrating. After filing a claim for my truck, I repeatedly called, emailed, and left voicemails for my assigned claims adjuster (Zealous Ogden) but received little to no response. I needed basic guidance about my coverage, the repair process, and whether a second claim was necessary, but I was left feeling completely in the dark. My truck remained at the repair shop for approximately a month while I struggled to get answers. I eventually contacted my local insurance agent, who helped me reach a different claims adjuster. The new adjuster was much more responsive, involved, and helpful. Although I have had better experiences with Travelers in the past, this claim showed me how stressful the process can become when communication is poor. Customers deserve timely updates and clear guidance—especially when their vehicle is being repaired. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to recommend Travelers. Im switching car insurance!

They make paying your bills really complicated. For most customers you can't pay online and have to call in. This has been down since May 2026, so 5-6 months.
