Their site came up as a sponsored link when my wife was trying to book a hotel reservation, and she used it, not realizing that it charged almost $100 extra a night in fees than the cost listed on the hotel's own site. When we tried to make a change the next day to the reservation we discovered their site allows no changes and no refunds - unlike the hotel site itself which would have no penalty. We called and were told we would get nothing back. So almost $100 in fees for Guestreservations to pose as a reseller, pocketing the full room booking of which the hotel charges nothing. SCAM.

A total scam
A total scam. Be very careful to check that you are on the hotel's genuine site before making payment.

DO NOT USE THIS BOOKING WEBSITE
I booked a hotel stay using this site, believing it was the company I was booking the hotel with.
On the day of the reservation, I realised that I had not received any confirmation that the booking had been completed.
I contacted the hotel directly and was informed that there was no reservation in my name.
I then telephoned Guest Reservations to find out why they had processed my payment but had not actually booked the hotel room. It was at this point that I noticed I had also been charged a £22 service charge.
After several conversations with Guest Reservations, they eventually booked the hotel room. Thankfully, there was still availability.
I demanded a refund of the service charge because, in my view, they had failed to meet their own terms and conditions, which stated that a confirmation email should be sent within 24 hours of the reservation and that the hotel room should be booked.
Eventually, I received a £13 refund.
I was also very surprised to discover that the company I had booked through is based in America and not the UK, as the website gave me the impression that I was booking with the hotel/company directly.

If I could give a minus-star review
If I could give a minus-star review, I would. I will never use them again, and I recommend that you don't either. I didn't realize when I was booking my hotel that I would be charged a $159.33 "service fee"! This is almost as much as one night in the hotel. When I called to question the fee and request a refund, they did refund $50, but the message was basically, "You accepted our service, so you accepted the service charge." I am angry and frustrated. It was NOT apparent to me when I booked the reservation that this was the fee. I accept that I should have paid more attention at the time of booking, but I have NEVER had a more deceitful interaction with a booking agent.

Upon checkout from the hotel, I requested an **itemized final receipt** for the completed stay. Hotel staff advised that because the reservation had been made through a third-party booking company, the **booking company was responsible for providing the itemized receipt**.
I then contacted the booking company as directed by the hotel and explained that the receipt was needed for reimbursement/accounting purposes.
The booking company representative advised that only the original booking confirmation was available and declined to provide an itemized final receipt. i explained that the confirmation did not meet the documentation requirements for reimbursement and reiterated that the hotel had specifically directed her to the booking company for the final receipt.
Because the issue remained unresolved, I requested to speak with a supervisor. The representative stated that it was company policy not to transfer callers to supervisors and repeatedly stated that a supervisor would only provide the same information and that there was no further recourse available.
During the call, the representative’s tone and manner were dismissive and discourteous. At one point, the representative stated, **“Oh my God,”** while speaking witH me. When I advised that I intended to continue pursuing the unresolved matter through other available complaint or review channels, the representative responded, **“Go ahead,”** in a dismissive manner.
I continued to request assistance because I had followed the hotel’s instructions and still had no way to obtain the documentation required for reimbursement.
Another tactic the representative used was to continuously speak over me until I was completely frusted in the hopes I would disconnect the call. The representative ultimately hung up the call while I said I would wait for a Supervisor and was still attempting to resolve the matter.
I followed the hotel’s instructions by contacting the booking company for the itemized final receipt. The booking company declined to provide the requested documentation, stated that supervisory escalation would not change the outcome, did not provide another meaningful avenue for review or resolution, and disconnected the call before the issue was resolved.
The interaction was further concerning because of the representative’s dismissive and unprofessional responses, including the statements **“Oh my God”** and **“Go ahead”** when the caller attempted to seek further assistance and advised that she would continue pursuing resolution of the matter.
