TRA sounded great at first. Said they could lower our tax debt by 90%, and stop all collections. We paid a retainer fee of $600. TRA wanted $9,000 to continue with our case. We explained we couldn't come up with that large of an amount, and we wanted our $600 refunded to us. They said no dice, because we have to go through the entire process, and see the final results. I told them that's no what we were told at the very beginning. So be it, rather lose $600, as opposed to another $9,000.

Horrible. Absolutely a joke. They make you pay and then keep you guessing for MONTHS. Save your money, time, and sanity by going for help elsewhere.

Do not use this company, they are only set up to take monies in and not do any work and then want to blame the customer but have fake apps that they claim you can use to monitor your account and progress and the app is dead. I called them in April from hearing about them on the radio and was wanting to reach a solution for my IRS situation. However, when the IRS reached out to me and offered a settlement that I accepted TRA refused to return any of my money stating I was "out of my cancellation period" Per Jasmine cancellation team supervisor.

Terrible experience. The reps stated it would take 9-12 months to complete tax resolution. I am waiting two years later and they still charge me monthly fees for doing absolutely nothing! Several months went by without a caseworker being assigned to begin processing for resolution. Also they stated it would take another 12 months for resolution. I truly regret joining this company. They do not care about their customers.

Travis with TRA kept doing a high pressure sales out c and giving me a deadline. I told him if that I didn’t respond well to the fake deadlines knowing damn well they would take my $25,000 to do my taxes when ever. He said he would extend it until Monday. Monday morning he asked for an answer and I just didn’t feel good about the used car sales tactics so I was going to bail out and asked for a refund. He didn’t respond at all. Days later I asked again and even though he put it in writing that everything was guaranteed he said the contract stated 3 days only. So he personally extended the deadline hoping to scan me out of $25,000 more but when I said no he decided to go back on his word and issue a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTIST

Do not use this company. It’s absolutely a fraud. They stole 600.00 then tried for another 2000.00. DO NOT USE. I stated what I needed fixed and they did nothing. I spoke to Ray

You cannot get a return phone call or response to an inquiry. They will take money from you and do or say nothing! I have spoken with Benjamin A one time. He has not returned my calls - just taken money out of my account. I am going to change banks on Monday 3/31/25 if I don't get a response.

I’m not happy with TRA when they wanted payment all calls were answered. 3 months later heard nothing from them and called 3to 4 times a day for a week no return phone calls.. Not a way that do Business.. I feel like I’m on my own and have to start all over… Paid 4,000 up front they answered every phone call till they got the money…, very sad and very disappointed…
