Purchased wifi hotspot, worked for 1 day then was useless for streaming, wouldn't even download a kindle ebook. Customer service was useless and hung up on me. Never again.

This is a terrible cell service company. They say unlimited but it s not unlimited and my phone runs slow the last week of every month and they say because I used up my data which was supposed to be Unlimited this also has happened to many of my friends who had this plan. And worst of all last month and this month they just changed my number attached a new number to my phone and took the old number that I've had for 20 years and I took hours to retrieve it both times. Had they not noticed it when I texted a friend or called someone and they told me my number was coming up different I would have lost my number that I've had 20 years forever. And they just keep apologizing and still changing my number without my permission. I have never had this problem with any other company like T-Mobile or AT&T. But this is the worst service by far and the worst customer service I've also ever had with a phone company. Now they sold the company to Verizon and it is now called total by Verizon. And today my phone number was changed again without my authorization and they just attached whatever number they wanted to my phone. So I don't see it being any better since Verizon took over. Last month when they changed my phone number and I called someone some guy's name popped up with a new number on my friend's phone the only reason I knew the number had been changed. I cannot tell you how many calls and texts I missed because they were calling my number and it was going to the cloud. Sorry I had to spend hours each month getting my actual original phone number retrieved. Do you think they compensated me for my inconvenience or gave me a discount or refund. No they did not . I am looking for new cell phone service and I highly recommend you do not get the service with total by Verizon.

Service has definitely declined recently. Enough that I'm switching to Mint. But it has taken 3 hours and several calls to customer service to try to get my number transferred. Ultimately I have given up. They have given me transfer pins but they have some kind of block that makes the transfer fail every time.

Ordered a phone for my Grandson. After 6 days he received the phone and it doesn't even have a back cover on it. Called Total Wireless and they say there is no way the phone doesn't have a back cover on it. Bad Business!!!!

Horrible company !! Went with them 2 years ago but now my phone keeps searching for service. Couldnt call out or recieve calls. Called them to see if they could help me, had to answer a bunch of questions but then it got to give them the last 4 digits of 3 outgoing phone numbers in the last 60 days but not the last 72 hours. Well I dont call that much and I always erase my calls list so had to guess. Had to give one more number but only 3 chances. On the last try I was wrong so she then told me to call back another day. I said "what"? I need help now. Gave her my debit # and she said sorry, my computer is rejecting it. I then told her that her computer took it the prior month when they took the payment out!! I am going back to the real Verizon. Have to pay double but at this point I will, to have good service !! Just hope I can keep my phone number !!

Awful since they became Total by Verizon. Very poor coverage. I've had total wireless for many years but I'll find something else now.

I ordered a new upgrade phone from Total by Verizon's website. They charged my card and never sent the phone and refused to refund me. Had to put it as fraud on my card and dispute the charge. So I decided to call the order in. Again charged my card (used a different one) and this time atleast I got an order number. Was supposed to be getting the phone in 2 days. That was 2 days ago. Had to put in a "request to the warehouse" and need to call back tomorrow. What in the heck is Total wireless doing? They had just so-so service before and now it is absolutely horrible! The service itself is good but the customer service is unreal and absolutely horrific! I brought 3 people over to their service and they NEVER gave me the points either. They had my account all jacked up. The "Corporate Managers" are as bad at helping you as the rest of the customer DISSERVICE Department. If customer service is what you are looking for then I would try to steal uou away from Total by Verizon. But again the service itself has been pretty solid.

Worst company ever crappy service and bad customer service don’t speak English you tell them people can’t hear you they ask you if your battery is charged and your volume is up they sell defective products and don’t honor warranty
