Total Wireless by Verizon is horrible!
I live in central Arkansas and have trouble getting a signal in most areas. I can be standing next to one of Verizon’s cell towers but still only have one or two antenna signal bars on my phone. Sometimes, I have zero bars and cannot even call 911, which is not good in an emergency. I used to have both Verizon & ATT post-paid. Yet, the service was just as horrible. So, I don’t understand what’s going on with them. When I call customer service, the foreign call center agents who answer my calls barely speak English. And, all they do is defend Total Wireless. They refuse to acknowledge my issue. I had the same problem with the major carriers, including Total Wireless’ parent company Verizon Wireless. I miss Alltel Wireless. Verizon bought them out in 2008 for $28 Billion dollars. Before that, I had the best service no matter where I was. 99% of the time, my antenna signal had full bars, the connection was always clear and I seldom had any dropped calls. I could be inside a cave in the most rural area of Arkansas, yet still have a good signal. But, now, it’s horrible, no matter what carrier I’m with. FYI: Alltel only hired U.S. reps. I miss those days.
