They deactivated my account entirely after I went over the hotspot data and caused errors when redeeming the rewards points which feel intentional from asking questions.
Customer service is tightlipped and it takes about 2 days for the higher ups to get paid. Why are the higher ups always paid more to do less work. If you don't want them to cause trouble then do not hire them.

Verizon is ruining Total Wireless
When it was just Total Wireless, it was awesome. My husband and I joined Total Wireless quite a few years ago. Customer service was awesome. You could get help FROM A HUMAN 24/7. Since Verizon took over, it is the pits. If you need a person, you have to call during certain hours, but the problem is getting through the automated rep. It hung up on me quite a few times because I requested "representative". It used to be that a person answered the phone. I am set up for auto pay, yet I constantly get text messages saying my service is expiring. (one, then 5 minutes later, another) I have called 3 times now requesting they quit sending these messages. When it was Total, I had absolutely no problems with customer service and believe it or not, I enjoyed talking to them. Now, it's a total pain. I will say that the past 2 times I called, I DID get the same representative (I write down date, time and name of rep) so I was able to ask him why he didn't do what he said he would do last time I called. Of course, he didn't have an answer. Reading these reviews, at least I know I am not the only one that feels this way.

they are a rip off
they are a rip off. I realized there was a data leak in my plan (probably my device) so 3 days before December 31 i added a 30 day airtime card. Turns out they must have switched it to 3 days as it said it expires on the 31st. I called them up and, ya! All of arre plans expider on de 31st. i see. Also when you do add airtime it is not a simple job you select add now then it takes a while for it to get its brain settled. The only reason i gave them 2 stars is because they have reasonable high speed data at one or 2 bars

Not really unlimited data on unlimited plan
Total wireless has fast reliable service, only
problem is they have a data cap on they’re unlimited data plan. Before I decided to go to Total Wireless I called customer service asked if there was a data cap, was told no. I went online looked at all the fine print everything I could, no mention of a data cap. Purchased the unlimited data plan, my data was cut off at 200 gigs. I was lied to there is no unlimited plan, I do everything at home I need a lot of data we live in the country there’s no cable internet here. I went back to cricket within a month, cricket really is unlimited. I don’t like being lied to.
