Terrible company if there is an issue
In my experience, what determines the character and credibility of a company, is what they do when you have an issue, This company has failed greatly! I recently had a shipment, by the way I paid for insurance, and USPS lost the package or delivered it somewhere else. By the way, this was their shipping carrier. So trying to do the right thing because I saw that it said it was delivered, I contacted tobacco stock and I contacted the Postal Service. Here is the response from tobacco stock which is unacceptable to me and I will never do business with them again: THEM: Thank you for letting us know. We are currently attempting to contact your local post office to have them investigate what may have occurred with your package. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we look into this further. In the meantime, could you please confirm your shipping address for us? We want to make sure we provide USPS with the correct information during their investigation. We will keep you updated as soon as we receive any additional information. ME: I gave them my shipping address THEM: We just wanted to follow up regarding your package. Have you been in communication with USPS directly about the shipment? Also, please let us know if you have received the package yet or if you are still waiting for it. We appreciate you keeping us updated so we can continue to assist you if needed. ME: Yes, I have been in contact with USPS regarding this THEM: Thank you for the update. Based on your message, it appears that you have already been in communication with your local post office and opened a service request regarding the delivery. Because you were the party who opened the service request, USPS will only communicate directly with you regarding the case. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to follow or communicate with USPS about the same investigation from our end since your service request was initiated. Please continue working directly with your local post office regarding the service request. We sincerely hope USPS is able to locate and deliver your package. However, because we are unable to communicate with USPS or investigate the matter ourselves, we are also unable to obtain independent documentation or evidence from the carrier confirming that the package was not delivered. As a result, the shipping protection on this order may no longer be applicable, and we may be unable to assist further with a claim or resolution for this delivery. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope the package is located and delivered to you soon ME: And what if they are unable to locate the package what then? THEM: Unfortunately, if USPS is unable to locate the package, we have no further options available regarding assistance. Because you have already opened a service request directly with USPS, we are unable to investigate the shipment from our end or take further action with the carrier. At this time, you will need to continue working directly with USPS regarding the open service request. We sincerely hope they are able to locate the package and get it delivered to you. SO SINCE I WAS PROACTIVE AND CONTACTED USPS MYSELF, MY PROTECTION, THAT I PAID FOR, IS NO LONGER VALID, AND THEY HAVE WASHED THEIR HANDS OF THIS ORDER. this is unbeleivable!
Response from TobaccostockOct 16, 2026
We understand your frustration regarding the missing package and apologize that this situation has been disappointing. When you first contacted us, we began trying to reach your local post office to initiate an investigation, which is our standard first step for reported missing deliveries. Unfortunately, the post office did not respond to our calls, so we explored other available options. Our concern arose after you opened a service request with USPS. Once that request was initiated, we were advised that we could no longer communicate with the post office regarding the investigation we had started. This limited our ability to obtain the documentation needed to pursue the matter through the shipping protection process. We did not intend to discourage you from seeking information about your package. However, coordinating the investigation through us is important because we need to obtain the necessary carrier documentation to determine what resolution may be available. Opening a request does not necessarily expedite delivery and can complicate our ability to coordinate with the carrier. We understand that you purchased shipping protection and expected assistance if your package went missing. We are sorry that the process has led to this frustration. Our intention was to help locate your package, not to dismiss your concerns. We hope USPS is able to provide further information through your open service request.
