Their idea of customer service is a joke
These guys have regularly offered the most abysmal service I have ever seen. The level of incompetence and lack of real concern about the issues they foist upon their customers is just astounding. I've been with these jokers for over 8 years and for the most part, they couldn't find their backsides with a map. Now, after using my account and managing it online and n the App for over 8 years, all of a sudden they tell me I don't have an online account, and then proceed to put me through several hours of hold (listing to music that is so loud that I have to turn the phone down and then can't hear the agent on another continent when they finally do get on the line. First their excuse was "gee, just wait 24 hours and it should all be ok - but we'll call you back tomorrow just to follow up", a call that never came. Can't speak to a representative in the USA - nope, I get to speak to someone in a foreign country who claims to "understand my frustration". These jerks have wasted my time over and over - hours at a time trying to fix their screw ups, and they have the nerve to say "Sir, we don't tolerate that language".
Let me tell you something: You've earned ire of every one of the customers you've angered by the level of incompetence you routinely bring to the table. They don't even have the courage to respond to reviews. These guys are absolutely the worst and not worth the angst and aggravation I routinely receive from them.
Why does it take a customer asking to escalate the issue? Why do they train their low level employees to obstruct their customers requests and prevent them from speaking to someone who may potentially BE competent? This is not the way to do business, and these guys routinely impede my ability to service MY customers because I am on the phone with them for hours. Maybe if they stopped paying their executives 20 times more than they do their employees and actually hired some real people, in the country where the customer resides to handle the issues they create, there might be a bump in "customer satisfaction" which is their cuter marketing catch phrase, but little more as evidenced by the experiences regularly reported by their customers.
This company knows nothing at all about providing real customer service, and doesn't even have a customer retention department.
Don't walk - run. Go somewhere else. These guys aren't worth the hard earned money you make, and they don't deserve it.

TMobile Accidentally Withdrew $1299.99
T-Mobile thought I didn't return my old phone and thus withdrew $1,299.99 from my checking account almost 2 weeks ago. They confirmed 9 days ago (8/28) that I did indeed return the phone and I would be issued a refund in 3-5 business days. On 8/30 I received a text that they need more info to process my claim. Thinking this was phishing, I called T-Mobile. They said the claim from 8/28 was closed due to not receiving this info. I said I was asked for this info just 15 minutes ago. I gave them the info and still anticipated a refund by 9/2. On 8/31, I call my local store and the manager reviewed the notes. He said it was approved on 8/31 and I would receive a refund in 48-72 hours (which would be 9/3). It's now 9/7 and I still don't have the $1,299.99 refunded. I've been on the phone and social media messaging for hours trying to get a concrete date and no one has a concrete answer. For example, the CSR on Twitter told me it would be just a matter of hours I would receive my refund. This was on 9/4. I have screen shots of all of these convesations. This isn't a matter of refunding $20, $50 or even $200. This is more than my mortgage payment and it's not b/c I returned some costly appliance, it's b/c they screwed up and now my family suffers. On Saturday I was assigned someone from an "executive response team". She called me but on my 13-year-old's phone, a number that was never communicated as a way to get ahold of me. I called her back and emailed her. No response. Called and emailed her yesterday, no response. Called today and again, no response. I've never in my life had such poor customer service from a big name company.

Run from TMobile
Run from TMobile. Been trying for 4 days to order a tablet. Just found out that you are shipping my tablet to another state and can't change address. TMobile is a joke and so is the shipping company. I've spent over 500.00 and TMobile is already billing me for products I don't even have.

Used to be fairy good now the worst company
Been with T-Mobile for over 11 years with multiple lines with only minor issues but they are now the worst. Pretty sure a prepaid phone would be better than ever dealing with T-Mobile again. Wish I could give zero stars 1 is too good for them.
Absolutely horrible customer service, horrible phone data service despite being in major cities, rude unhelpful store employees when a device was stolen & unhelpful service when calling too. The color maps that show their "great coverage" is a lie. 0/10

T-Mobile Sucks as result of Merger w/Sprint
It's too bad when T-Mobile merged with Sprint that they adopted Sprints horrible service and unethical practices. I was with them for years when they were a wonderful company with awesome customer service. I have never been lied to and misdirected so much. Everyone I talk to gives me a different answer about the merger. When purchasing a new phone under sprint in Spring, 2020, they told me not to worry, I wouldn't lose my status with T-Mobile because the merger would be complete that August 2020. Every time I talked with them since then, they project it out another month or two with various excuses. Recently, (spring 2022) I finally had the opportunity to switch to T-Moblie if I paid off the $186 balance. However, the T-Mobile instore rep told me it would be better and faster if I upgraded and then switch to T-Mobile. I took him on his word, even though I didn't need a new phone (I'd just gotten one three months prior paid for by my insurance since I broke mine old one). I specifically asked if this would put me in another lease with Sprint and he said no. That was a lie. When I talked to the customer service rep at T-Mobile, she was apologetic and said she was going to submit it up the channels to have the balance removed so I could switch. Then sent me an email saying she was confident she took care of my issue. Another lie. The bill still shows me in a lease for another 19 months with Spring. I talked to a second customer service rep who said the previous rep never submitted anything and there's nothing they can do unless I pay off the $600+ balance. Lies lies lies. T-Mobile used to be such a wonderful company. Their merger has caused them to be as bad as sprint. These are the most recent lies and poor customer service. I've been to the T-Mobile store almost monthly for the past 18 months trying to get this sorted out to no avail. I'll be switching to verizon in the next couple months. It's worth it to get out from under all the lies. It's too bad T-Mobile took on sprints customer service instead of keeping their own quality people.
