I recently got their home internet service. I am happy with the service I am getting. I am not happy with customer service as I just went through a nightmare with them for 45 minutes to get an account number. I just wanted to sign up so I can manage my account online. I gave them phone number but since it was a verizon phone, it didnt count. I gave them the number off the back of the gateway so they could send it a message. Finally I was looking at an aFib attack so I told the hard to understand person on the other end, I would never use them for anything serious. Funny, somehow they have my credit card number and it seems to work. What a waste of time.

Denying EBB benefits to 1st responders!
They denided my application to use the Emergency Broadband Benefit program that the Federal government is currently offering to almost every low income citizen in the US.
I'm on a discounted account because I am a first responder and they offered it to me.
I'm still trying to understand how... The Federal government approved my application for the EBB Benefit...but T-Mobile says my service plan doesn't qualify.
First off they shouldn't be able to control the approval process...second.....if anyone should qualify..it should be first responders. If sure America just loves hearing that T-Mobile is denying first responders. We put our lives on the line everyday...and many of us got payed off or had our income cut..this making use low income individuals. T-Mobile should show some respect for their customers and maybe think a little about how their action might effect the public opinion.
Of course my many calls and emails to their customer service dept. has gone nowhere. Mostly because the rep. doesn't have the authority to do anything about it. This issue should go straight to the CEO...maybe then someone with the proper authority can fix this issue.

Training of T-Mobile staff and customer service reps is ESSENTIAL for PREVENTING wrongful business practices
My family plan from a competing wireless company was recently moved to T-Mobile and during the transfers, one of the customer services reps did not port one of the family numbers properly resulting in the other competing company quietly keeping the account and billed for the month of Aug-September that the phone was never used. We had two different bills from two different companies for the same phone. How convenient is this? We ended up paying the two bills but I am writing this review to let T-Mobile and my fellow Americans know that this is not an acceptable business practice. More importantly, we, as customers should be even more VIGILANT and check each and every step methodically so that these behemoths don't resort to wrongful billing practices... The amount of money I overpaid could be someone's grocery bill for the month..... I am very upset and would like to speak to any T-Mobile manager or rep if they want to verify and understand what happened. If not at least I would let the world know what is happening so that they can be well-informed consumers........ Without consumers like us, these companies don't Exist. We must remember that....

Disappointing Experience with T-Mobile
I visited a T-Mobile store recently and asked to do a speed test (5G) vs. AT&T with my iPhone 12 Pro. Surprisingly, T-Mobile was exponentially faster (450MB/s vs. 100MB/s) so I decided to switch. As soon as I got home and drove around I noticed the data speeds were nowhere near what they were at the store. Obviously they have a signal booster around that store (and probably all of them). I tested speeds and service for a few days and they were both sub-par to AT&T (I live in South Florida) so I switched back. I canceled within a few days and was told I would receive a full refund for activations fees and my services. So far I still have a balance and I was told I had to go back into a store to get a refund for the activation fees and SIM card fees, which I wasn't told in advance I would be charge for activating my own phone in the store.
On a positive note, all the employees I talked to on the phone were very helpful and seem excited to work for T-Mobile.

Service is awful. Internet doesn’t work at certain times. Have missed important calls due to the service being so messed up. Switching ASAP!

A whole migraine headache of trouble..…
Awhile back, I stopped in to TMobile to ask about their Plans and Phone Deals. I was helped by a truly kind and very engaging customer service rep-Robert-who literally could sell sand in the desert :) seriously. I felt like saying to Robert, "do you know how great of a Salesman you are?" I felt like Robert needed to be TMobile Flagship Store Manager and going places. He is that good. Anyway, he wasn't trying to get me into a contract, but I ended up getting into a plan that was nearly $30+ per month over my old regular bill. Next, the phone they gave me-and I requested it after doing a lot of research-OnePlus Nord-turned out to be a giant phone that I couldn't really hold in one hand-it had a ton of glitches-things like not being able to make a phone call!-multiple errors-MAJOR STRESS!-and a weekend from hell where all that phone did was cause me near constant trouble. TMobile Tech Support is Not a good phone call. For some strange reason TMobile Customer Service kept turning into TMobile Welcomes you to Brittain. Nearly every person I talked to had a British accent.
I talked to some mean woman who speed talked me thru tons of tech speak and I asked her to slow down-like seriously- and she got mad at me :( 5G coverage was a no-go. So was 4g & 3g to no coverage in a lot of places where the TMobile Map says 100% 5G. Also, I was sold on "Free Netflix!"-only to find out No-that didn't include my expensive plan. Tech support told me, "the device is broken take it back FOR A FULL REFUND IMMEDIATELY"--I did exactly that. If Robert had not been working when I took it back I know the manager wouldn't have even returned it. She was NOT NICE AT ALL. I had that Nonworking phone less than 8 days. They finally refunded me, (that store manager does not know how to use a simple computer and is not knowledgeable about TMobile at all. Why is she store manager?), but as I was physically walking out the door-that mean lady sent Robert to chase after me and I had to pay them $42!--that is not right!
Plus they locked me out of ALL MY GMAIL ACCOUNTS!-- when the new cell phone store called to get them to unlock my emails from the NORD phone-only 1 hour later they told her NO. And sarcastically-"have a nice day."-that was cruel!
Someone at TMobile began trying to print off my private emails and Thank Goodness to Google (Thank You Google for helping me), who notified me so I could DENY Permission to some unknown TMobile person invading my Privacy in a very big way. And if that's not all...after TMobile promised me, I dont owe them another dime--they have the nerve to send me yet another bill for $25. I ain't payin it.
I had to call TMobile to ask about a credit for the $42-Robert told me, "Call Customer Support and they will send you a Check", that did not happen. TMobile had also planned on billing me a whopping $70 for a plan I didn't use and had to return. If I had kept that NORD 1Plus I would be in trouble because there is no insurance on that expensive phone at all.
I should have had an inkling this TMobile wasn't going to work for me due to unhappy minorities who came in to get help with their phones and were not treated kindly-as I was buying the NORD. It bothered me, and to me that was a sign I should have paid attention to. The very last TMobile CSR man (he also told me "TMobile Stores and TMobile Corporate are totally different." He said I should have recorded the whole thing bc that's what he does. How should I record that?-with the Nord phone I am returning? He was pretty nice and adjusted my account which I was grateful for and told me-"you won't owe TMobile a dime"-also said-"I don't want to leave a bad taste in your mouth", about TMobile -- aren't those U2 song lyrics? They constantly loop tons of pop songs throughout all their stores and call hold times and I just wonder-are those songs all licensed to TMobile? Just curious.

I cannot recommend tmobile
I cannot recommend tmobile. Customer service is lacking. What you are told in their stores vs what online customer service tells you never match and you are left with no help. One example is that I needed my screen protector replaced (under warranty). Store did not have it in stock (waited 30 minutes to be told that). They recommended I contact customer service which I did via messaging. After another 35 minutes wait time I was told that only store has procedures in place to order replacement screen protectors. Great...no help whatsoever. This is one issue among 2 others I have had with tmobile in the course of 10 months.
