I could write volumes about T-Mobile's incompetence and dishonesty that sound so ridiculous that you would think I made them up (if you didn't know I am an honest person). I don't even have the energy to go into details about how my supposed $85/mo turned into $800/mo and they said "just pay it, when the promotions kick in it will be credited back and you won't have a bill for 10 months" but then it was $800 again, etc, and how I watched store managers call Customer Care are argue and scream at each other like they're not even working for the same company. I ended up paying $2,000+ over a few months for my $85/mo 24-month plan that I had to cancel 3 months in and they still locked my business phones, causing me to lose business, even though I had MY OWN PHONES I PAID CASH FOR. They are simply, literally, unbelievable and I have never in my 50+ years found a company I can more confidently say "stay the hell away from" more vehemently than T-Mobile.

On December 30, 2025, my family and I visited a T-Mobile retail store for routine assistance with a device purchased at the same location. Instead of providing basic service, the staff accused us of lying and refused to perform even a simple account or device check. When we began recording the interaction for our own protection, service was abruptly denied. The store manager insisted on communicating only in English, despite the presence of Russian-speaking employees who had been actively participating in the conversation moments earlier. The situation escalated further when store employees mentioned contacting law enforcement and specifically ICE, which was entirely inappropriate and offensive. We were ultimately denied service and forced to leave. What followed was even more troubling. A corporate T-Mobile representative later claimed that an “internal investigation” had been conducted and attempted to close the matter with a small financial credit. However, instead of actually resolving the issue, the company continued billing us after the account had already been canceled, adding late fees and interest that inflated the balance to nearly four times the original amount. In other words, while T-Mobile claimed to have investigated and “resolved” the issue, their own billing system directly contradicted those claims. This strongly suggests that no meaningful investigation took place. Even more concerning, in the final written response, the company attempted to shift blame onto me rather than address the documented misconduct. This experience demonstrates a pattern of dismissive customer treatment, misleading corporate responses, and billing practices that continue even after service termination. Anyone dealing with this company should carefully document every interaction.

Nonsense BS where you can't set up or adjust your wifi router from a direct LAN connection--forcing you to download their app and inflate their marketplace ratings, and give them access to who knows what else on your phone in the process. Forget that. Download BlueStacks and install it on PC where they'll have no access to your phone.

TMobile lies and tells customers what they want to hear. They make promises and the TMobile agents use fake names and don't understand what you're saying. They promise to refund via electronic check giving a reference number and then state that it was denied. The plan that involves buyers remorse and 14 day return policy is a scam. Use Verizon or AT&T instead. The quality of agents has decreased. Always someone in the Philippines answering the calls using fake names. TMobile is engaged in fraud selling products one did not sign-up for.

I jumped through all the hoops to transfer my elderly mother's phone number from T-Mobile to Boost Mobile. I gave T-Mobile the PIN, retrieved the text sent to my mother's flip phone (all billing is in my name), made an up-to-date payment, waiting on the phone over multiple days, speaking to several different offshore employees. It should be noted I visited a T-Mobile store in Buffalo New York; I was told to call customer service as none of the 10 employees could help me although the store representatives should be customer service. After speaking with someone at T-Mobile and adhering to all their requirements, I was told the number and phone were unlocked. When I visited Boost Mobile, they said the phone and number was locked, T-Mobile has been keeping people's phone numbers hostage, as to try and keep customer's and I am not the only one they are doing it to. The flip phone was paid in full through Sprint, there should be no reason why the phone was locked. I had to spend over $200 on a similar flip phone and get a new number for my elderly mother which is a major inconvenience because all her doctors and emergency contacts have her original number. I have family members state that T-Mobile also kept their phone numbers hostage. This is piracy as T-Mobile is unlawfully keeping phone numbers of their customers hostage.
