Will never buy from this company again. Lied that they delivered tires and set up an appointment that cost me a days pay. Told tires got delivered late so no appointment. Called installer and told no tires were there. Got a phone call from someone in Kost corporate that said they were revaluing their relationship with company over their payments and delivery. Finally had tires delivered 2 weeks later and had them installed after waiting 1/2 hr past appointment set up tire. Going back to Tirerack.com from now on.

Very disappointed
While each representative we spoke to was very kind, our experience was terrible. Our tires were originally sent to an installer that could not accommodate our 22” rims. The tires were then shipped to a different installer, but the installation fees did not transfer and I was expected to pay 160$ for installation. I was told by tirebuyer they would issue payment, but they still have not and the installer is calling and texting me about payment, when I have already paid an installation fee. I am very disappointed and frustrated, and I assume now this installer will be hounding me for months about a free I refuse to pay twice.

Lying Transaction
I ordered a tire from them through Walmart. I then found one cheaper on line and canceled that order which they approved. I then tried to order the tire from another provider on Walmart at which time Walmart said there was suspicious activity on my card and canceled my order and put a hold on my card. Fine. Stupid, but fine. Three days later, I then ordered the tire directly through Tirebuyer with a different credit card, which was approved, and I have the order receipt and number, etc. The tire never arrived, so I contacted them, and they said it was canceled because my card was declined. This was a lie as there is nothing wrong with my card or my credit and the charge was approved immediately, hence the receipt. Apparently, they saw the same name and address and the previous cancellation and some lackey or bean counter decided to cancel that as well. When I asked them directly if they were refusing to sell me a tire, the rep said I should check with my bank. What ridiculous customer service. My credit is good, my second card was NOT on hold, and the rep was about as rude and condescending as they can get. Never will I buy anything from this company, and I recommend that others pay close attention to their customer service.

Hi Dan! First and foremost, I want to apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced during this process.
I understand that you initially placed an order through Walmart, canceled it, and then encountered issues when attempting to make a subsequent purchase through Tirebuyer. It appears there may have been some confusion regarding the payment process, and I would like to clarify our stance on this matter.
Tirebuyer utilizes a third-party payment processing company to handle transactions, and this company is responsible for verifying and approving credit card transactions. Unfortunately, in your case, it seems that this payment processing company declined the card for reasons beyond our control. We do not have direct access to or control over the decision-making process of this third-party service.
I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. We value your business and strive to provide excellent customer service. I regret that our representative's response did not meet your expectations, and we will address this matter internally to ensure better communication in the future.
I want to assure you that we appreciate your interest in purchasing from Tirebuyer, and we do not have any intention of refusing service to our customers. It was not our intention to inconvenience you in any way, and we genuinely hope that you will consider us for your future tire needs.

Never told order was on back order
I ordered 2 tires, 1 was delivered on time the other was not. I had to call in to find out it was on back order and they did not have a firm date of availability. As the vendor you should have alerted me of the incident and proposed a solution to be or upgraded/substitution or refund.
Response from TirebuyerOct 2, 2023
Hi Thomas! We truly sorry for this mishap, Unfortunately we were not alerted by the supplier when the tires are backordered this time. We totally agree with you that you should have been alerted, but its never our intention to disappoint our customer. Please give us another opportunity to serve you better! We've sent you an email to get this resolved for you. We appreciate your business with us!

Double-billed me on installation fee…
Double-billed me on installation fee and could not reimburse me for that. Also, the installer was not given a job order so there was no way for the shop to secure the installation fee due them. Not a way to run a business.
Response from TirebuyerSep 21, 2023
Hi Rod,
We are sorry the inconvenience as it seems our installer had bit of miscommunication on fees are paid to them. We have recently transitioned to make payments on customers behalf to installers . We are actively communicating most installers and educating them on how the installation fees are paid for. We have already issued refund on your order. Once again we apologize for the hassle you had to go through.

Deceptive and misleading installation
I doubt i will go to tire buyer ever again. I booed this thru a work discount thought hey I’ll be saving 10%. Well that’s wrong!!! Yes the tires were $5 less than a big chain but they get you at the installation shop. What i thought would be $48.98 ended up being an additional $169.29 because the installation fee only covers outing the tires on not all the configuration (balance and alignment. Very deceptive but that’s not the only problem I had.
I placed the order online and made the reservation for my install on a Friday for a Wednesday I get a confirmation for my reservation. The next day via email. I’m set right? Nope!! I arrive at the schedule time for my installation. I actually arrive 20 min earlier hoping they can squeeze me in. Well that did not happen. The tech tells me we don’t have any record of you booking an appointment and we did not receive any tires of that brand and model. I call Tirebuyer and it’s all apologies we sent them out and they were signed for. The tech says they are not here so I leave and deal with tirebuyer for two days asking what went wrong and how are we going to fix it. They tell me they can have an answer in 25 hours. Great 24 hrs longer. So i get a call saying the thebtires have shipped and will arrive on Friday. So they book an appointment for Saturday at 3pm
Again Inarrive 20 min early for an appoint at 3pm. I am told you will have to leave the car till tomorrow. I hat to have two tires replaced that sounds a bit off I said why so long. The new tech says well it takes 2-3 hours to do the alignment. Again what? It only takes the big box stores 30-60 min max for the alignment and 30 min to change the tires so i ask again why am i dropping this off. They said because they got busy with walk-in so my car more than likely won’t be done till in the morning. I said well I’m not a walk-in i actually have an appointment to get my tires done at 3pm not in the morning the next day. I am not leaving my car all afternoon and night for an appointment at 3pm. They said then we will have to reschedule if you can’t leave it. So now i have to reschedule and come back a 3rd time.
I go back to the shop on Monday 10 min before my appointment. First i get the additional charge and then told the car won’t be ready for four hours because why? I ask. The tech says well if you had brought it in 30 min ago I had no wait but now there is a line.
What the… Why would i bring my car in for an appointment at 11 at 1015 that makes no sense.
1st tirebuyer needs to better manage appointments. I should have been seen the first time. If the appointment was not going to happen someone should have called me. I work nights and had to het up after two hours of sleep the first time for nothing.
2nd. The installation shop (a tirebuyer premier installer (listed when I made the appointment) should have a better system to handle reservations vs walk-in. If someone that make an appointment (4 days prior) should have their appointment honored not pushed to the next morning with leaving your car behind or told your in the back of the line because people that did not have a reservation are in front of you so that bumps your spot back.
Come one I’m paying over $700 for two tires. Give me a little customer service!!!
Never again it’s Big-O-Tires from here on hour. It would have been $30 cheaper than having all these added prices at the last moment. I thought I was going to save $100 going online to buy tires and booking online but i ended up paying $30 more than what Big-o-tire was going to charge. Very misleading and deceptive fool me once shame on you fool me twice ain’t happening !!

Bad experience
Have not had a good experience with Tirebuyer. First, my order was shipped late so I had to reschedule with one of their recommended installers, Pepboys. Then, Pepboys overbooked the day because their online scheduling system doesn’t work. I waited 4.5 hours to have my tires installed!! The kicker: TireBuyer knew about the scheduling issues with PepBoys and never did anything about it! No warning and still recommends them as an installer. Go with Tirerack.com instead and save yourself the hassle!!

I haven't received all the tires that were shipped from different locations. Due to shipping delays I will not have the tires installed in time for a trip I am taking. No one has offered any discount for the inconvenience.
