THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW!
I've owned quite a few Timex watches since the 1970s and I've never had a single problem. I purchased a Timex watch on Wednesday 10-1-20 from a department store. It has the steel wristband which you stretch out and put over your hand when you put the watch on your wrist. On Saturday 6-18-22, if you do the math having worn the watch 5 days a week for that period of time and not wearing it on the weekends I've probably put this watch on and take it off my wrist a total of about 800 to 840 times. On this particular date when I went to take the watch off the part of the strap near the top of the watch itself broke on one side. I waited until today, Monday 6-20 - 22 and I phoned Timex to explain the situation. A gentleman called Migelle (sp) answered in customer service and to cut a long story short after I explained all the above to him, he sent me a 15% email coupon if I bought a Timex watch strap! Let me get this straight your poor workmanship has failed, and I've got to buy another watch strap. What a spit in the face. If I was Timex I'd have said, "We're so sorry for the trouble and thank you for having faith in our products for so many years. We'll send you out a new watch strap. I've nothing further to say. I think this company's poor response to a customer who's been with them for almost half a century says it all!
