What a beautiful bag! I'd been looking for a small messenger bag to replace the patagonia bag I'd been using for 30 years. This bag is perfect! Really well made. Great colors. It will last at least 30 years... longer than I will last!!!

The website was easy to navigate with clear pictures and descriptions of the options. The order process was simple and my item arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

At the very end of 2012, I purchased a travel backpack/duffle from Timbuk2. It has been one of the best purchases of my life. I've used it on all of my subsequent trips, allowing me to avoid checking baggage, to run freely through airports, and to never have an issue fitting my belongings into an overhead bin. Sadly, at the end of a recent trip in 2026, it became very clear that my beloved was at its end of life. The shoulder straps were ripping and they weren't going to be able to handle the weight of another significant trip. However, Timbuk2 claimed to have a (limited) lifetime warranty, so I figured I'd submit a warranty claim with the required photos. I've been disappointed by "limited" lifetime warranties in the past and I could easily see how this could be classified as normal wear and tear, so my expectations were low. But, to my happy surprise, they gave preliminary approval for my claim! So, I packed it up and shipped it out. They received it and confirmed that they would repair it, free of charge! Woohoo!! However, the repairs would take 6-10 weeks. That estimate turned out to be extremely conservative, though, as Timbuk2 repaired it in 5 days! Suffice it to say, I highly recommend Timbuk2.
