Bought a classic messenger. Made in Mexico. Close enough I guess! Got bag. No issues.

My 12 year old son has become a serious cyclist, so I got him a Timbuk2 bike messenger bag for his birthday 5 months ago. The instant he put it on, he finally understood what I'd preached about so many times, trying to get him to stop riding with a camping backpack. I bought my Timbuk2 bag 30 years ago and use it whenever I ride. I bet my son's will last even longer

Thank you so much for sharing this — what an awesome milestone for your son! We love hearing that the moment he put on his Timbuk2 bag, it just clicked. There’s nothing better than gear that earns its place on the ride. And the fact that you’re still using yours after 30 years? That’s exactly what we’re built for. Here’s to many miles ahead for both of you!

I was definitely looking for a rolltop bag for my new Macbook Air. I loved being able to design all the different colors. The interior sleeve for the laptop and all the other pockets are great.

After 8 years with my favorite Timbuk2 bag, it was time to get a new one. I planned on getting the same exact one, but it's not in production any more. I reluctantly bought a different model, and I love it even more. These bags endure, and I love the custom colors. Will never buy a backpack from anyone else as long as I live.

Thank you so much for the incredible loyalty and for taking the leap on a new model! We know how hard it can be to retire a long-time favorite, so it means a lot to hear that your new bag exceeded expectations. Eight years of adventure is exactly what we design for, and we’re thrilled the custom colors and durability keep delivering. Here’s to many more years on the road together!

I now have three Timbuk2 messenger bags in three different sizes. I love them. My first one was in 2001 but I lost that one. Here we are 25 years later and I use them every day, for work or leisure, and select the size depending on the applicaton. Considering adding one more to my collection so I have 1 of each of the 4 sizes.
