Ordered something 8/31 - says ships in 2-5 days. I took that to mean exactly that. Now I find out it is taking more like 10 days. It was a bday gift that I will not have on time to give. Change website to reflect true shipping time. Had I known, I would have ordered a different backpack from another company (also highly rated) so I would have it by his bday Sept. 6.

There is a manufacturer defect on a book bag that cost 150 at most and have to pay for shipping to get the bag back to Timbukt2 for a repair. The lowest cost shipping is $55. This is not worth it. I had to send pictures to have the defect vetted as appropriate for repair. If that is the case, why doesn’t Timbuk2 take on the cost of shipping or offer the customer reduced shipping? In the last 20 years I have 5 pieces of timbuk2 luggage and 5 messenger bags. None of those products have had defects. However of the 4 book bags I have purchased, 2 have had small but noticeable defects. I would ask for you to fix both book bags defects at no cost of shipping or repair.

I ordered a backpack my son picked out for college. This was August 4, 2026. I paid for 2 day shipping so my son would have it before he left August 12. I factored in business days. Gave them wiggle room. I looked at tracking and saw my package was in Memphis, TN for over 4 days and I called Timbuk2, spoke with Marlene, who was cordial and willing to help. A couple days later she reported the order “lost” and reordered it for me. This was on August 18. It has not even been labeled at shipment hub yet! I am starting to get wonder if this place even exists!? Super disappointed. DO NOT waste your time with this company!. Buy from Northface. I had the best luck with them in the past and I guess this time around I had a momentary lack of reason.

Ordered the gift card for a last minute gift option on Thursday. Digital delivery, which is advertised as available 'same day' is not delivered until midday Monday. Where the truth in advertising ethics sits with this company is unknown. Do not recommend because product information/promise is not delivered, customer service is uncaring and delivery speed is unacceptable for a digital product.
