I purchased both Titanium and blue steel locks. I’m satisfied with the both locks. I understand that blue steel is tougher and stronger than titanium. But one thing I feel sorry about blue steel, there is no “Made in the USA” marking on it. Is it really made in the USA?

There are two reasons I chose the product. It was very light in weight and because of the price I assumed it would be difficult to pick or cut. I'm still guessing that that is the case.

This is my second Tigr mini lock. I had the titanium version but when I saw how easy it gave up when it faced a basic home depot hacksaw I was thoroughly disappointed to say the least. I'm happier with the new blue version. Its a very smart design, unique and lightweight. I wouldnt put it up against my kryptonite NY chainlock or an Abus Granit but what it is good for is a lock that doesn't add any weight to my carbon bike, but allows me to always have a lock with me, so when I'm sitting at Fatburger my bike is right next to me but it's locked. In case I turn my head and someone tries to pull a fast one, or if I'm taking it on the bus, I always lock the rear wheel ever since someone grabbed my bike off the rack and tried to pedal away with it...not realizing that I had locked the rear wheel with my original Tigr lock, I chased him down the street in my cleats while he ran with my bike until he ran out of gas and I didn't...got my bike back. The lock looks and works great. Also light and easy to carry.

Solid, lightweight, very strong lock. Check out the Youtubes, and more importantly the company's response. I was impressed . . .and pleased. Only negative, is that to make it lightweight, it's not a chain that will circle all around your wheels and frame. think of it like a U-lock that is lighterweight (and less easy to pick).

I love the lock. Light, easy to use, and stylish. I’m not sure about the strength of it though, I haven’t tried to break it on purpose just to test it. Another issue after using it for a while in rainy Vancouver, there’s some rust colouring developing on the lock part, not sure if that will be a problem down the road.
