This company offers products and services that they have no intention of completing. I have a small Tech, satellite, surveillance company here in Arizona and they promised us the moon and stars for advertisement and social engagement. After struggling to get a website built for us and billing us $400 a month for six months plus an initial payment, I was forced to have to cancel. Now, realizing that they did absolutely nothing for me attempting to get the website content they created is a hassle as well. Seems you don’t own the content after you pay all that money for absolutely nothing. The plain shut my website down. SMALL BUSINESSES STAY CLEAR !!!

My Thryv rep established an agreement with me that they would get my company listed for Residential Electrical, Commercial Electrical, and Solar System Installations within a 40 mile radius of my business address with generic web listings in the top 5 on web searches. They told me it would take two to three months for my listing to improve. After six months of very high costs they utterly failed. My generic web listing has not improved in the last six months. After just a few weeks of entering into the agreement they tried to reduce my service area to just a 10 mile radius from my base of business which would have removed a vast majority of my business calls. They tried to completely change the initial goals we established for this web marketing plan. They created the web page, so they cannot blame the web page, they controlled the listings in many directories, which only made matters worse for my customers because they listed forwarding phone numbers which were not my number confusing my customers and making texting virtually impossible. Thryv cannot blame anyone or issue for the failure of this marketing campaign because they controlled all the factors involved. They never listed my company for "Solar System Installer" after a couple of months of my complaints they then said I would have to pay for another campaign to be listed as a Solar System Installer. It was one of the original goals at the start of the contract. The only way they ever got my company listed at the top of the page was with a google approved green check mark which did not help my generic listings or ranking at all. This Google Approved listing was so irregular that often and for weeks at a time I would get very few calls for service. This was a terrible waist of time and money. They are in my experience a very poor web marketing company. Do not trust their goals promises. They will not improve your generic listings. I kept my word and paid for six months, but never saw my original goals met. After four months I had to pay more and hire a second Web Marketing Company to try and save my business. Thryv has been a very bad experience for me and my electrical contracting business.

This organization(Thryv) provided a Web presence for my company(Times Up Tree Experts, LLC), which is a small minority veteran owned business. The website and its content provided a basic presence but not much else. The company reps claimed they would get my organization onto the first page of google listings and once a customer seeking services we provided conducted an internet search in our geographical location, we would be top of the list. Moreover, a sales rep stated along with my prescription due to the time of year he would be able to have the company listed in the Yellow Pages for no additional cost albeit a few would be required for renewal. Apparently my company was renewed without authorization and I began being billed for something I never agreed to. My company sought a web presence, we never requested an antiquated ridiculously expensive Yellow Page presence! Hence, currently I’m receiving emails and text messages about this matter being escalated etcetera. In addition, the sales rep constantly attempted selling us additional services such as providing tree leads. Consequently, we tried that service for a brief period without any significant results and decided not to renew the particular service. Nonetheless, at a later date the sales rep contacted us stating Thryv had a more aggressive tree lead package. Seeing this I realized this was nothing more than an up selling marketing ploy I further wanted to no longer be a part of!

Thryv seems to bought out Vival yellow page company. I did business on a yearly basis and chose each your to continue or not. Thryv printed listing without consulting asking me or giving me a price for such listing. I agreed to nothing and never even spoke or communicated with them and now they think I am going to pay 3 times the rate I paid with Vival? Take me to court and bring the nonexistent contract for your service.

its a good security system and reliable company

I used Thryve yellow pages for 2 years. Did not get that many jobs from their advertisement. When I stopped advertising with Thyrive it took six months or so to stop getting billed. It was a very shady experience and I felt like I was getting ripped off. Will never use their services again, nor will I look through yellow pages for any services.

Horrible experience with this company - over an almost 12 month period they took our funds and did not represent the product. Then blamed it on how Vivial was bought out by them and the last representative didn't do their job. So then go ahead and also not do their job - stopped answering emails and communicating etc. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company and I will make sure I continue to find other sites to write up on. Hope they now realize all they had to do was properly communicate with us as they said they would do. Will be going after our credit card company to reverse charges next if we don't hear back from them this upcoming week.
