This is the second pair that nose pads have broken. I really like the glasses but not going to pay $5.00 for replacement. might try again when they figure out nose pad problem and fix it!

Poor quality, nose pads always break and replacement glasses are $5. Its been this way for years, you'd think an attempt would be made to improve.

I have purchased over a dozen pair of these glasses over several years and love them for their convenience. However, every pair I have used have broken at the nose-pad within two months. There is a design fault and they are simply not durable enough and especially for the price. I resent having to pay $5 for shipping each time a pair breaks and can only claim one replacement at a time. I haven had any negative issues with Customer Service, other than the last replacement (2 pairs) did not arrive before we set off again.

I purchased my (first) ThinOPTICS Smart Glasses 2 years or so ago, and while I found them convenient, they were not very stable on my nose, nor very comfortable, so I typically carried "real" (really BULKY) reading glasses around too. Sadly, the flat nose pieces kept falling off, which made them PAINFUL to wear at all until I made improvised nose pieces to glue-on. Those kept falling off too. A couple days ago, I bought a new pair at my Optician's shop. They were much more comfortable, and I noticed the "Lifetime Replacement" policy. Upon checking into it, I received VERY helpful support from ThinOPTICS support staff. THANK YOU

I am an old Thinoptics customer, I found the idea of having my glasses ready and whenever I go terrific. It is true that I had some problems in the past from the customer service for my replacements, but they have significantly improved it and everything works fine right now. They have also improved the quality of the glasses, so 5-star for that as well. I have read some of the negative reviews and I agree to most of them, but try it now and you'll see. Everything works fine!! So, thank you Thinoptics for the excellent idea of your glasses and the improvement of your services. :)

These are a nice and convenient product. I use them everyday and are easy to fit in my pockets. I have replaced these for the second time and the service was exactly as to the warranty.

They always give me a replacement but the same part of the thinoptic glasses keeps breaking when inserting or taking it out of the case, the nose pads break off often and no longer stick to the nose and need a replacement.

ThinOptics make great products both the original with no arms and the new very lightweight ones with frames. They have a lifetime warranty and it works!!!. I have had pairs of both replaced for a small service fee. Recommend them highly for a good products and excellent customer service..a rarity today
