I don’t trust the owner and feel she’s lying about her lifestyle. When I took the course about a year ago, it was terribly taped with bad audio. Her dog was walking around and loud and sometimes she didn’t even show her whole body while showing how to do a position.
On Feb 19, 2025, she emailed me:
We’ve received a few negative reviews lately—nothing major—but as you know, people are more likely to leave a review when they’re unhappy. So many of our students have had incredible success with our courses, but don’t always take the time to share their experiences on review platforms.
Would you mind writing a short review about your experience? It'll help with your affiliate course sales and will spread healing to more women who are curious about somatic exercises. It should only take you 2-5 minutes! You can leave your review here.
Thanks so much!
^^that was the email. That email alone should show you the truth.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we understand not every experience will resonate the same, we stand by the integrity of our work and the positive impact it’s had for many. In the past year, we've improved audio, video, and presentation quality, and continue to invite reviews to encourage balanced, honest feedback.

Take these five star review reviews with a grain of salt
It seems as though this business is trying to do some damage control after operating unethically for quite some time now. I used to recommend this program to everyone until I realized the manipulative marketing tactics used to pray upon vulnerable people who are seeking true healing. I was previously an affiliate for this business. I no longer recommend this creator to anyone. I guess I’m still on an email list because I received the following email in my inbox this morning:
“ I’m reaching out to ask a quick favor. As an affiliate, you’ve been such an important part of our journey, and it means a lot to know you believe in the healing power of somatic exercises.

This creator claims 99% success rate but if you try to get a refund, she’ll say it’s something you did wrong. The customer support is terrible. The health claims are outlandish, and I feel there is a real case to be made with the Federal Trade Commission.
I also want to mention that this business reformatted their business name to “theworkoutwitch” on Trust Pilot (I believe) in effort to keep these negative reviews from coming up on search results.

Thank you for your feedback. We stand by the effectiveness of our programs and the experiences of the many students who have benefited. Asking for honest reviews is standard practice, and we’re committed to ongoing improvement while staying focused on serving those seeking meaningful support.

I was shocked to see the videos that…
I was shocked to see the videos mentioned here regarding "symptoms" of high cortisol. You do not have these extreme issues with life stress and many things she correlates with cortisol are irrelevant. She also uses “buffalo hump” and “belly fat” to market her exercises, but point to cushings which is a very serious condition, and not remedied by pushing/moving your legs around. I can see how this is deferring people who could have a serious medical condition to assume she's going to "fix" it. Glad to read that this was presented at an endocrine conference as an example of misinformation - it's becoming so darn viral.
She needs to attend an endocrinology class.

Thank you for your perspective. Our courses focus on gentle somatic practices to support overall well-being and are not intended to replace medical advice or treatment. We always encourage a holistic approach that includes consulting healthcare professionals for serious health concerns.

A scam
A scam. She should be ashamed of herself for taking advantage. I wrote several times that I was having problems with the course .Customer Service didn't respond so I asked for a refund and got a response that I have to have the whole course completed in 90 days and at that point I wouldn't be able to complete it with the restart (you can't skip more than 3 days or you have to restart) the videos are not accurate in description ( she say move only a inch or whatever and she moves 6 inches) I'm not sure how your supposed to watch the tutorial from the position you are in while doing it. I don't have the money to pay for something that isn't going to help me so I was hesitant to purchase but she advertised the money back guarantee. So now I really just feel worse, taken advantage of and hungry because that was my grocery money. Way to prey on the hopes of healing in already vulnerable people. Please don't be fooled like I was.

Thank you for your feedback. Our goal is to offer supportive tools, and we’re sorry the course wasn’t the right fit for you. While refund requests are carefully reviewed based on our policy, please feel free to reach out to our support team again if you need further assistance. Wishing you the best on your healing journey.

Extremely Disappointing & Deceptive
Extremely Disappointing & Deceptive – Do Not Trust!
I highly regret getting involved with this so-called “somatic exercise” program and teacher training. The marketing is misleading and manipulative, claiming that her programs are life-changing when in reality, it’s a complete scam. She has no real qualifications or expertise—just a basic trainer background—and is using the tragic California wildfires to sell her unsubstantiated methods.
Her teacher training was a joke—just videos and regurgitated content from other people’s work. There was no real support or guidance, and when members asked for help, she gaslit the group, blaming frustrations on personal responsibility rather than offering any meaningful assistance. It's clear she’s not interested in actual education or support, just in profiting off vulnerable people.
This person has no accreditation, a terrible BBB rating, and poor reviews on both Reddit and Trustpilot, yet she continues to present herself as an expert. She silences any negative comments on her posts and only pushes forward her deceptive marketing. It’s slimy and unethical, especially for those already dealing with trauma, to take advantage of their pain with promises that her program will “save” them.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for genuine support. Avoid this at all costs.

Unscrupulous in my opinion
This company, in my opinion, is preying on people who are struggling with trauma, cptsd, chronic fatigue and illness and the grasping at something to help them. I've been in the self-help realm for over 30 years. I've tried many, many different things and I can tell you that as soon as I started the program based on the quality of the sound of the website they were using and just the way that the instructions were given set off every alarm Bell in my head. However, I set aside what I thought and I immersed myself in the program and finished the 30 days and saw nothing felt nothing and the sad part was that I had stopped doing other things that had been working and I was going through a particularly difficult time. So I contacted the company and was told that because I didn't complete the entire program, I was not eligible for a refund. I know I completed the entire program but because they have such a shoddy server somehow it didn't register. It might have been human error because sometimes I did it on my computer and other times I did it on my phone. So I completed the program again. But this time I didn't ask for a refund directly from the company. I went to the better Business bureau and I filed a complaint against the workout witch. I feel that this is a case of snake oil sales, there's a lot of hype and buzz around somatic things. In this particular case, I should have known based on the fact that she didn't offer any free full length challenges, or just a free program so that the people could get an idea of what the program would be like. Most reputable YouTubers and tick tokers who offer these kinds of little tidbit videos will also offer full length videos so somebody can try a program and see if it fits them. She did not and does not participate in anything like that. That's a huge red flag. I have no problem with people making money but I have a problem with people telling you that you will get something out of their program and if you don't that it's somehow your fault that it didn't work. Or using ambiguous language in return policies, counting on human error or shoddy servers to enforce an unrealistic return qualification threshold. Those are the most unscrupulous types of people in my opinion. I feel that the workout witch company is predatory in the way that they're preying on the most vulnerable people. In my opinion, of course. I have purchased programs from creators and they worked out, and there are times where I purchased a program from a Creator and it was just way above my ability levels and I contacted them and they immediately took back the digital content and refunded my money without any problem or hesitation. So what I experienced felt like disingenuous communications knowing full well that they aren't going to give anybody a refund. All in all I believe and this is my belief. Having experienced good and bad things with companies, I would say that there are plenty of free somatic movement, creators and content that is free on YouTube. I highly suggest you familiarize yourself with what somatic movement is supposed to do and how it actually operates within the body. I'm probably not going to get a refund or even a reach out, I feel they'll just point at "the refund policy" and keep moving the goal post so you'll never actually get a refund. I would love to see a review where somebody didn't enjoy the program and was promptly given a refund. Anybody?

**They keep trying to take my review…
**They keep trying to take my review down. I will not stop warning people** I have done the hip release several times over a few years and have not noticed a difference. I see all her positive reviews and how beautiful her life is now and say to myself that I am going to try it again. I have been considering purchasing more of her courses thinking that I need more "support". After reading through many comments from people whose reviews have been deleted and seeing the receipts of interactions I am repulsed by her. I found free TRE Training and I am looking forward to starting it. Being a HOT Boss Babe, means being Honest, Open, Transparent. Deleting "negative" reviews, victim shaming, and hiding correspondence that does not fit into your higher-than-god persona is the exact opposite of being a HOT Bass Babe. Liz Tenuto has now started a teacher training course. Teaching her toxic ways of hiding, shaming, and blaming.

The Workout Witch uses lies and manipulation and gaslights her students
The workout Witch uses misleading marketing tactics to sell products. She preys upon vulnerable people for financial gain. I was genuinely interested in a teacher’s training program. When I reached out and asked if she would be offering a ACCREDITED teachers training course, she said YES, and I was asked to give an email address so I could know when the training was available. It is NOT ACCREDITED. I was added to an aggressive Email marketing list. Multiple emails weekly, with urgent marketing campaigns. Claiming that it was the last time we would save money. Claiming that the teachers training program was limited and offered exclusive mentorship with the creator to those who signed up in the first round. Not only is there no quality standard of mentorship, they didn’t even close out enrollment. We’ve all been grouped together. Lies upon lies within the marketing email.
Once I signed up for the teachers training, I started the program. It consisted of five books and 30 modules with videos and reflection questions. Some homework assignments. There was no manual or diagrams for the movements. When I reached out asking for that, I was told to take really good notes. I eventually got together with some of the other trainees and found that many others were having the same struggles and anxieties.
We had an open discussion about our anxieties in our Facebook group. To which the creator responded for us to make sure we’re managing our negative emotions in a healthy way and not blaming anyone for our anxieties. We tried to hold her accountable for the missing information and she used psychotherapy to essentially deflect herself from accountability. She has since promised to get these materials for us, but it’s been over a month and we haven’t seen anything.
I am thoroughly disappointed in my purchase. I have initiated a chargeback. I have unsubscribed from all of her social media platforms as I no longer have any sort of trust in her integrity. I should have looked into things further because there is a no refund policy. That should’ve been my first red flag.
