There is a chunk out of the frame, significant scratches on the screen and many scratches on the back at the top. Hi Gloria, We did reach out and sent better pictures with a better explanation. There was an error on our part regarding the charger. That is not a requirement for a phone. We sent a 2nd payment of $20. The phone does have image burn and scratches all the way across the bottom. The original quote was for excellent condition, which is a like-new phone. It is very rare for a phone of this age to qualify, which is why the quote was initially as high as it was.

Hi Charles, the phone you sent in was not fully functional and also had a battery that was swolen. The battery would have to be replaced. The back was coming off because of the swollen battery, and the charge port was bent. The battery and charge port had to be replaced. Your phone was not in anything close to good condition. How many years old the phone is does not come into play. "For it being 3 years old." The standards do not change. The corners look like the device was dropped on concrete many times. The LCD is damaged. The charge port is not functional, which is why the carrier let you keep the phone. You mentioned just going through the 1-star reviews. Why not view all of the reviews? Is that because 4+ out of 5 reviews will be a 5-star review? Being disingenuous with what you send in is where 1-star reviews come in. We make an offer, we pay for the shipping to us, then we test and evaluate the order, typically the same day it arrives (faster than anyone else). If we change the offer, you have the option to have it returned at our expense. On the business side of this, these types of reviews seem as unfair as your claim of "bait and switch." We received a terrible condition device, which is not even functional and then received a 1-star review. How fair is that? We've gotten to name calling now. You can send pictures of anything you like. What you sent is in terrible condition and we even sent you pictures of all the dents into the frame.

We have not received any communication that you had difficulty with the gift cards. While we are not the company that issues the gift cards we can get support to help you. I contacted the gift card issuer and they said you split the $15 into 3 $5 cards and they have been used. You had $15 to spend and you spent it. This is not a review of our company. We sent $15, and after speaking with the issuing company, they confirmed that each one had been used.
