Mixed feelings
The employees were great, although not as skilled at getting cooperation from my cat as regular vet. I could get in easily and felt the vet was good. Problems: They did not recommend follow up after providing meds for an infection. I learned later, from the emergency vet I needed to go to, that cats don’t always respond to certain antibiotics. It is standard practice to recheck after treatment to see if the infection is gone. This wasn’t done, the UTI persisted, and it hastened my cat’s kidney failure. Do not get the wellness plan. It is not a good value as it offers 3 visits but only covers labs for one. If you take them up on their mid year checkup because it is part of the deal, you will incur extra costs. Bottom line, if you need quick treatment for something pretty standard or if you are doing annual checks and vaccines on a healthy pet- the Vets provides great service. If you have an ill or older pet, a regular vet is a better bet.
