Vermont Country Store Does Not Care
You’re familiar with the expression “pull the wool over one’s eyes”… Well, attempting a transaction with Vermont Country Store feels like having a whole sheep thrown in one’s face. You can read in the comments here about the sorts of nonsense VCS does in order to enrich themselves at the expense of their abused customers. Horrible defective products, long telephone wait times, non-responsive live chat, customer service representatives ill equipped to actually resolve problems, ridiculous charges (i.e. to return defective products), no accountability, the absence of truthful answers… Yes, they did it to me too. That “Customer Bill of Rights” they post on their website along with that “aw shucks” photo of their generational owners — it’s complete nonsense, as fictional as your favorite dime-store novel. Once they’ve taken your money, VCS does not care about you, or their reputation. So, if you like donating your money to a corporation disguised as a homey country store, by all means, bring your business to VCS. If you actually want customer service, accountability, truthfulness and top notch products, you really should look at a different vendor. These folks are absolutely not the “real deal” and in time, you will regret your association with them. Bad folks who demonstrate daily that they do not care. Do yourself a favor, stay away from them.
