Social cat helped me build my social connections and provided me with many opportunities to grow and have more awareness of my skills and creator talents!

Very helpful and polite customer service. They lived up to their promise of automatically matching brands up with social media influencers. You don't have to search, outreach or do anything - they just match you up everyday. A good option for small business owners just testing the waters or seeking to create awareness by giving away products for free. Several of the influencers matched did not appear to have read the brief properly before being matched but emailed afterwards to explain that there seemed to be a mismatch with their audience. Others were a more logical match to my brief. In the end I opted to narrow down my niche even further to make matching more precise as categories like "lifestyle" are much too broad. Overall a promising app that meets a real need and the founder appears to have worked very hard to further improve the product - going by the number of happy reviewers.

We've had problems with SocialCat for a few years now. We tried them out originally when they launched and found that too many of the influencers were taking the product and not following through with making good content. I was very excited a year later to see that SocialCat had made improvements to their platform which allowed for rating of influencers so that if they didn't follow through with their end of the obligations, you could rate and report them appropriately. We decided to give them another shot and it ultimately ended up with disappointment yet again. $99 was paid for their plan which is supposed to match you with "up to 25 matches per month", and "200 prospects per month". The problem we ran into was that 90% of the prospects were completely unrelated to our niche. We are in the food niche, and they were matching us with accounts that promote lifestyle, fashion, etc and we ran out of 200 prospects so quickly that we weren't able to even use our account to try and find matches for more than half of our billing period. To make things worse, we only had 6 collaborations instead of the 25 we paid for, and they all found us through opportunities, making their prospecting system completely irrelevant. We dealt with Caitlin on multiple occasions when trying to find out what was going on and she was responsive, and friendly but had a certain tone she was using and we felt as though she was insinuating that our brand didn't meet the "top-calibre creators" that they offered. Rather than trying to keep us as a customer, we were dismissed. We paid them $99 for the monthly fee, expected to be able to find 25 matches, and ended up with 6. I can find 6 myself on Instagram, so we canceled. I would love the chance to try the service again in the future, but they have a lot of work to do on their platform before it's fair. You shouldn't be limited to how many prospects you can find if the only ones they're finding for you are irrelevant to your niche.

Understanding the world of micro-influencer can be daunting, but after engaging with SocialCat, the ease has been awesome. Truly a GREAT solution that all CPG's should consider in their marketing strategy build. Thanks a million

At first this platform seemed like a great idea, and first month it connected me with a few influencers, second month the were only 3 opportunities, and two of them never texted back again after accepting collaboration. A couple of influencers, that I worked with were great, but honestly, out of 6-7 people I worked with I got only one real client and a couple of followers, as a result I lost money for paying the platform and a lot of my expensive skincare products were used during the free services I provided them. Don't think it worked much for me as a business promotion.

My experience with Social Cat was a good one at first, but after I made a query regarding something with my collaborations I stopped having my pitches accepted. No new deals. Then, just today, someone accepted my pitch, sent me a message asking for my shipping information, and then dropped the collaboration. I am firm in my belief that Social Cat has blacklisted me and that is truly unprofessional.
