From SAK's own website's shipping details: "International shipping: We currently ship to international addresses via DHL. By partnering with DHL for international shipments we make it simple for you, by offering a way to pay international customs fees upfront. Customs fees and duties are included in the shipping price calculated during checkout. This will expedite delivery, make the order process more reliable and keep the costs down." This is a complete and utter lie. Customs fees and duties are not included. Their customer service (only e-mail contact) is awful with two separate representatives telling me there is nothing they can do because "DHL have not collected the good yet" and leaving me to contact DHL myself to see if I can somehow pay the duties and taxes before final point delivery. The whole reason for choosing the SAK was because of their claim that the customs and duties were included (basically pre-paid, nothing is free or included). So buyer beware, their service is appalling, their stated policies are dishonest. I hope to god, once the products arrive they are actually of decent quality (I have low hopes).

Customer service is the biggest joke. You can only email them which should be a red flag because they only respond when they feel like it. God forbid you incorrectly type the wrong address, fedex will keep the package & can only release it if the SHIPPER which is the sak to call and change the address. Don't even waste your time telling them that. They won't do their part in this and basically it's "oh well." There is nothing you can do as the customer to get a wrong address fixed, so it's completely up to the shipper, which The Sak could care less! So you get to be out of your money for 2-3 weeks waiting for fedex to return it back to the warehouse, then they refund it, which we all know will take 3-5 extra business days. Not worth the hassle. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere & would advise the same for others!

If you bought a bag that was advertised as being made from high quality leather you would expect it to last more than two years correct? If it was made of high quality leather it probably would have. Instead of making the entire bag out of leather except for the lining Sax decided to make part of the strap and interfacing out of pleather. It is peeling. When I contacted SAK they said sorry about that but our warranty only lasts a year. This company issues false advertising and does not stand by its product.

Loved the look of the purse but soon the straps were wearing out. Was not real leather, as it peeled!

Took my money Product got “lost in shipping” Took 2 emails to get someone to answer me Hopefully get a refund I wouldn’t take a chance No customer service phone # Really???

I WAS going to purchase a handbag.. but the only way to get a hold of them is through email. And I emailed them twice and never got a response! So won't be getting my business! I can't do business with a company that won't respond or especially doesn't have a phone number.

Poor Customer Service (Posting for my wife) I purchased 3 of their leather purses over several years (2 directly, 1 Amazon). My recent purchase pictured is now on sale for 1/2 the price. It went on sale the same day I received my new purse. I chalked it up to bad luck until a Customer Service Rep wanted feedback on my purchase. So I expressed my disappointment in the length of time it took to receive my purse, plus receiving their sales ad showing the purse at 1/2 price on the same day I received my purse. While the representative did her best to feign concern, she offered nothing. I wasn’t asking to return the purse or asking for money off my purchase. However, after the Rep contacted me and I voiced my concerns, I expected her to offer at least a small discount off my next purchase. Even their website offers a 20% discount using the spin wheel feature. I now realize this company wants nothing but praise for their products — not honesty. I’ve now made my last purchase from The Sak.

Terrible customer service! I placed an order from a seeming Canadian site (thesak.ca) and I payed in Canadian funds. I did read that international returns/exchanges would not be be allowed; yet at no time did I feel that this fit for me, as I did not consider myself an international customer, being a Canadian ordering from a Canadian site. Well, guess what? I am an international customer afterall. The bag is a soft leather, pretty colour, but not at all the same purse/bag as in the photos - the customer service manager has not at all been helpful. I am now "stuck" with an almost $200 ugly bag. Not sure, but this feels quite political right now, given the US/Canadian relations due to their President. This is just awful!
