Little pisser
We've been using two diffusers for a month now and our new cat is still peeing outside the box. Mainly in one area of the house and once a day. Our other cat still growls and hisses at him. I can't afford to keep buying products and sprays and collars and cleaners. Gonna give the diffuser another month. Is there any other products that can help?

Hello Russell, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re really sorry to hear that things have been stressful with your new cat. Introducing a new pet to the home can definitely take time and patience. Our diffuser is designed to help reduce stress and anxiety in cats, which can sometimes contribute to behaviors like peeing outside the litter box or tension between pets. However, these behaviors can also be influenced by other factors such as territory adjustment, litter box setup, medical concerns, or the transition period between cats. Since your new cat mainly goes in one specific area, it may also be helpful to thoroughly clean that spot with an enzymatic cleaner to remove any scent that encourages repeat marking. You might also consider: • Adding an extra litter box (the common rule is one box per cat plus one extra) • Placing a litter box near the area where the accidents occur • Gradual reintroduction between your cats if there is ongoing tension • Checking with a veterinarian to rule out any urinary or medical issues You’re clearly doing your best to care for both cats, and we truly appreciate you giving the diffuser another month. Behavioral changes can sometimes take several weeks as cats adjust to a new environment and each other. If you’d like, please feel free to reach out to our support team so we can learn more about your setup and share additional tips that may help. We’re here to support you and your cats. 🐾 Best Regards, John of TheraPetMD
